We are staying in Lindfields and the home we're staying at is near Funie Steed Rd. We plan to use the Sherberth road shortcut. Which way would be quickest in the morning in Aug. traffic. Lindfields to 192 or Funie Steed to 192?

hi.... I would definately take Lindfields to 192 and then left on BLACK LAKE ROAD..Black Lake will parallel 192 for about a mile plus and end at Sherberth..
Turn left and you are on your way. Exiting Disney just take Sherberth to 192 as there will be very little traffic headed west as far as Lindfields....Funie Steed was pretty much dirt with lots of construction earlier.
If You want you can take Lindfields to 192 and all the way to Sherberth if traffic is light, but if heavy traffic use Black Lake...
here is little map that might help. Notice top of the map where 192 and Sherberth and Black Bake can be seen very nicely.

Hi Lisa - I agree with Ted (as usual). Taking Funie Steed really wouldn't save you any time. And as Ted alluded to, Funie Steed wasn't completely finished last time I checked. It was paved part of the way and then became a dirt road. They may have finished it by now but I'm not sure.

Lindfields is a very nice development. We've rented homes there a few times. It is a slightly older neighborhood and is mixed use so there are actually folks living there permanently. It gives the area a much more homey feel and less like a generic resort.

Funie Steed is paved now. Our home is in Sunset Lakes and we were very happy when they paved it all the way to formosa gardens.

Hi...good to hear...do you still think it is easier to get from Lindfields to Disney by going directly to 192 rather than Funie Steed to FG Blvd?

Ted

Not to rush the experts, but..... I LEAVE IN 18 HOURS. ;) 2 weeks at Disney, I can't wait!!!!
If noone is sure I'll try both and I'll let you know.
If I get the goods may I join the expert panel?

imho if you are in Lindfields in one of the last streets near wwere you would turn left (like going to sunset lakes) then I would go on down funie steed past sunset lakes, emerald island and etcc. But if you are up closer to 192 I would go that way.

I think they are both good ways to travel.
