What kind of traffic should I expect going from Universal to DL on a Thursday at 5PM and from DL to Burbank Airport on a Friday at 5PM. Thanks!

I would look for an alternate time for both trips. 5 PM puts you square into rush hour (with Fridays being particularly bad). When I lived out there, I tried to avoid that time frame. You could end up in bumper to bumper traffic with cars barely moving.

Very slow traffic. Universal to DL will be slow, bumper to bumper after the downtown interchange most of the way to DL. DL to the airport, traffic may not be too bad until you get to the downtown area and then bumper to bumper to the airport.
