Arrival night, we always go to EPCOT and the Biergarden is our We are at WDW moment!
Mickey Bars.....Does any one have a restaurant/ meal/ snack that they have to have on the first day, or it just isn't the most magical Disney trip?
Something that just says "I'm in WDW now!"?
It's really so random, but I grew up about three hours away from WDW, so if my family went we would leave after school/work on a Friday and get there around dinner time. We kind of had a tradition of checking into the hotel (usually one of the All-Stars) and then hoping back into the car to go to the Crossroads shopping center across from (then) Downtown Disney and getting dinner at Pizzaria Uno. My parents briefly lived in Chicago, and while they didn't really like it (it was too cold for them and there was no family nearby) they did miss the pizza. There are no Chicago-style deep dish pizza places in my hometown, so this was a fun treat when we went to Disney every other year or so. After that we would walk around Downtown Disney and head back to the hotel for the night. Once again, so random but I have fond memories of this tradition.
Our first ever trip to Disney World was for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Yacht Club so the first ever thing we did at Disney World was go to Epcot, eat at San Angel Inn and then ride The Three Caballeros. Yes, that was my first ever ride at Disney World haha! Since then we have started every trip the same way as a tradition.
Just get me my Lapu Lapu at the Poly.Does any one have a restaurant/ meal/ snack that they have to have on the first day, or it just isn't the most magical Disney trip?

So true! It's something about the chocolate to ice cream ratio in the ear. Kinda like the difference between a regular Reese cup and a Reese pumpkin or treeMickey Bars.....
