I have now created another character and aquired a bunch of credits. How do I log on to both so I can trade? Do I need 2 computers? :confused3

you cant trade credits unless you have a quest kiosk, but if you have already bought stuff you can use vmk pal to do it. Or use a friend you really really trust.

It depends on your computer(s).

I can log into several characters at one time on either of my computers using IE.

You just open two windows and log on as you normally would.

It may slow down your response time.

Two computers work better.

You will only be able to trade items no credits without a Kiosk.

Cool, I don't mind buying with other character then trading.
Thanks!

that's never worked for me Mal, every time I click the button it replaces the window I already had open, so I use one IE and Firefox or two Firefox

Personally, I found that using 1 window as IE and the other as Firefox, it works better for my computer. But, I never go to the home page and click on the log in button to log in.

I always use the direct address to the log in screen. https://secure.disney.go.com/vmk/en_US/register/index?name=LoginPage&bhcp=1

Use the direct address and you never even have to go to the home page. :)

To use Two windows in IE you bring up the log in page then hit Control N, which brings up a second log in page.

With that said, I use one Fox and one IE

I have a question though... I know if you crash on IE you can hit F5 to reload... is there anything you can hit on Fox to reload it or do you have to go back to the log in page?

so by using one IE and one Firefox you get less of a chance of Dcing?? That's my problem with two IE windows.. they always DC

how do you get vmk pal is does it cost money?
It has to be downloaded; it is free. Since it is an outside program, VMK cannot recommend it, or guarantee the safety of using it in conjunction with VMK.

But of course VMK Pal is not needed to log in two characters at once; the link that cteddiesgirl posted above works just fine.

Since F5 doesn't really work in Firefox, I just click on the refresh button in the toolbar. :) Other than that, you need to go back to the log in screen.

Regarding VMK Pal, if your computer is already bogged down with playing VMK, don't use Pal. It uses a lot more resources than just using your browser window. VMK Pal is a wrapper program and just makes certain things more convienent.

I use F5 and Ctrl+F5 with no problem in FireFox... :confused3

I'm soooooo off topic but....
I downloaded a VMKPal, and I tried it out and it said " you must contact with the administator " or something. What does it mean? Do I need this special software for my vmkpal?

Dizzy's outsi!

I use AOL for one and then the link that has been given for the log in page with IE. I never have problems. Very rarely is it slow for me but that has to do with computers.

i dont know if this was said i did not read the posts but u can open 3 at a time that i know of
1 in IE
1 in fire fox
1 in vmk pal

I used to use IE and firefox, but have found that VMK Pal works better and is much easier, and I get much fewer crashes than with IE or Firefox
