in Boston -
she is from around here - scary -
thought you might wanna turn it on

The crazy one isn't from Boston, the Hypnotherapist/Tarro card family is from the North Shore of Boston..

still waiting
they did the preview of it before the commercial so you haven't missed it yet

I don't get Fox News, someone please post what happened when it is over.

I couldn't understand her screaming, so I'm no help.

the woman from Boxboro just saw the show herself last night and put all the pieces to gether as to what happened.
She was expressing empathy for the woman and her family...
I too could not understand the rants by the physcho mom
and I missed the actual show - just read a few posts on it here.

Ok I'm lost! FOx new has Oreilly on so I guess I missed it - wonder if they'll do the story again---I'll go check their website & see if anything's there---but fill me in, please

I saw it on as well... they showed the clip of her rant from last night & then they talked to the woman from Boxborough, who only saw the ranting last night. Apparently she tried to call the family to be sure they are alright...

For anyone who missed it, someone posted this short clip of her very long rantings... She was screaming about The Dark Side & Gargoyles and Taro Cards.... I've never seen anything like it to be honest...

OK, I just watched last night's show. Yowsa....she was insane. One thing I'm curious about though since I missed the first part. Was the little girl the older daughter's child? There was something about money going to two of the girls (I didn't catch their names) to get their own place. Was the daughter married?

How old was the oldest daughter? I also missed the first show unfortunately... the younger daughter was a wonderful dancer!

That lady was just psycho christian. That sounds so wrong, but wow was she intolerant of anything that wasn't God fearing. They showed her most of the time sitting there praying to God - really doing nothing with the family. Even when the husband just wanted to mention astrology, she just told him flat out to shut up.

I really like it that she was ranting and raving about wanting to have nothing to do with the money that was from a 'Dark sided' family/etc. But they had a thing afterwards that showed how the money was distributed - $20000 to the psycho lady to get gastric bypass. Of course, when she found out what it was, then she decided to take it. Hypocrisy I tell ya!

Oh my gosh - I just watched the clip posted above. I did not see the full episode, but if that were my mother, I would move as far away from her as possible!!! It is one thing to have strong beliefs, its another to just plain be psychotic!

The worst thing the psycho did was imply to Jeanie(hypnotherapist lady) that her husband was trying to shove his new age beliefs down her throat. I know in the first show that Jeanie was unsure about some things in her marriage(I can't remember exact details) and after she left the psycho lady she was upset with her husband and I thought he was totally awesome to the psycho. So tolerant, let her pray because it made her feel better and even took his whole family to church with her--She was awful all I could think about was how she was scaring her grand daughter and kids when she was going off like that---I wonder why she went on the show in the first place??

From seeing her behaviour, I'd suspect that the "psycho" mother is suffering from some form of mental illness; she has obvious control issues, which at home she uses the older daughter to enforce upon the younger daughter, who is obviously not happy with the situation.

She also uses her very deep seated beliefs as both a crutch and a weapon; anything that makes her uncomfortable she can dismiss as "evil" and "dark" because God told her so. She then can retreat into her own world, where she can feel both superior and safe, while praying for the souls of others.

FYI-I am not bashing anyone with deep religious beliefs. Do not take this as anything more than it is, it is not a blanket statement equating religion, however fervent, with mental illness. In this woman's case, it just seems to manifest itself that way, while some people turn to drugs, alcohol, food or sex.
