Who did you vote for last night and why?

I liked the yellow team a lot - good teamwork, creative, handled the stress of the situation pretty well. But it was the brilliant use of that pink fabric that made up my mind - that was hilarious, but a great idea because it was something that could easily come back out of the room.

The purple team did an OK job on their room. The floor was great, as was the art work (I wouldn't want it in my room, but the yellow team appreciated it) and the creative candle holder from the junk yard. But that entertainment center was way too big for that room, and I don't think it was necessary.

Like you already said, the purple team's design was just ok. I also didn't like their attitude at all.

I voted for the yellow team because I liked their room much better than the other team's. I also liked their attitude and the way they were able to handle any challenge thrown their way.

Both team had fairly nice rooms, but I just really liked the yellow team better. They were such sweet people with wonderful attitudes, and I would rather give them the paid off mortgage. I liked when the guy said he was having so much fun that he wasn't going to worry about winning. Did anyone else notice they showed the one guy from the purple team driving an expensive yellow sportscar at the beginning? I know you're not supposed to vote by who needs it more, but rather how much you like the room, but...

we voted for yellow...they truly seemed to be having a blast with the show and their design and worked great with frank AND ty!

the purple team...i hated the way they treated ty throughout the whole show. the commercials i saw all week leading up to the show last night just made me angry at them...i had really hoped that the commerical was just creative editting...but the more the show went on, the more disrespectful they were being towards ty. i just didn't like that...but i did find it humerous that the yellow team was sleeping by 10:30pm and those guys were up all night...and when that fabric didn't dye properly...that was too funny...

DARN!!!! I didn't realize the votting stopped at 2am ET.....I was out of town last night and didn't try to vote until this morning...missed the chance....I'll be more on top of it next week...

This was a blowout in my mind - Yellow team all the way. They were an amazing team that will be tough to beat into the next round. They really did a great job with design, creativity, and ingenuity when it came to the challenges. The husband was very, very creative and experienced with tools and the trade. I think they will be tough - and as I said, there is no doubt in my mind who will be sent on, I mean come on, what woman in her right mind wants to vote for a team that yells at Ty after giving him only $400 to complete an Armoire the size of Texas.

omg...i thought it was hysterical when the lady on the yellow team was watching ty outside without his shirt on...i was rolling!

I thought the yellow team did a better job with their design "twists" that were thrown at them.

Can't wait to see the re-run (we couldn't watch last night). What did the promos for next week look like?

I voted for the yellow team. They were spunky, worked extremely well together, worked well with Frank (did you notice Frank crying at the end when the yellow team was talking with Paige about their experience? He seemed truly touched by them), the fabric in the vase was absolute genius, and their room turned out very nice.

Purple team....ugh.....I hated the way their treated Paige and Ty, I hated the way they freaked over every stressful situation, and pretty much the only thing I liked about their room was the floor and the lighting. The cabinet was hideous and I thought the color choices were blah....I feel they could have punched up that off-white with some cool accents, or sponging the paint colors on top of each other or something.

And what was up with Kia's outfit!?!?!?!:scared: :scared1: Ty even made some comment about it...eek!

I did notice that. I thought that was a huge statement that he was touched by them like you said. This crew sees so many people in such a short amount of time, but he obviously had a connection with them and he enjoyed the experience just as much as they did.

And yes, Kia's outfit was frightening, but she does wear some crazy stuff.

And the shirtless-Ty scene was definitely worth watching over and over.... :hyper:

Out of the four teams we've seen so far, the YELLOW team is the only one we've liked. They've been the only ones who seemed to be having FUN!! :sunny:

Now we know why the term "Attitude is Everything" came about!!! I liked both rooms but the attitude of the yellow team is what got my vote. The one guy from the purple team was so rude and I do not think he could ever handle any MORE pressure if they were to go on to the other episodes.

I voted purple because I liked the room a little better than the other one. However, I'd be happy with either team winning because I liked both of them and they did a good job. I lost last week. I hated the lavender team; to me they were just way to cocky and irritating. I just couldn't get past that to even consider the room they did.

I voted Yellow but have no faith in the voting after that lavender team won....

Yep, Jill, saw the yellow car, I want HIS mortgage paid, I do I do.... :o
