Trading pins on plane

Can we take our lanyards with trading pins in our carry ons? Does the airlines consider these pins as potential weapons? What has been your experience?

It won't be a problem in your carry on. You may have to show the TSA agent what is in the bag but no problems taking them with you on the plane.
