Is it true that you can trade non DVC site points to get a DVC room on property in Disney World? Also...if you did this during free dining, would that somehow be included in your stay? My In-Laws are planning a family vacation for us next year, and I wanted to gather as much information for them as I could! Thanks in advance! :worship:

You would need to contact the timeshare that you own to see if they have trading as a perk. There is no "point for point" option, however.

DVC uses RCI for their members to trade out..

Free Dining is never an option for DVC members unless they pay for a reservation like the public. It is a promotion Disney offers when booking their hotel rooms at rack rate, plus purchasing park tickets.

There are 2 options where you can exchange points directly, these are Club Intrawest and Club Cordial. Otherwise it's through RCI only. The chances of getting what you want vary with the specifics.
