A few years back, Disney would allow a guest the option of trading in a completely used up PH toward the purchase of an AP, if the trade-in was done within 7 days of the first use of the PH. Essentially Disney would allow someone who bought and used their PH, to trade up to the AP with an anniversary date the same as the date of first PH. The guest is out no more $ than if they had purchased the APs to begin with, and Disney is out no more than if the guest had activated the APs instead of using the PH.

Anyway, is this still an option for ticket buyers not sure if they would want to come back within a year (before they see the place)? Thanks as usual.

Yes but it has to be upgraded within 7 days of first use AND it cannot be a completely used up ticket. In other words, you can't use a 4 day PH for your first four days and go back on the 7th day and have the ticket upgraded. It must be done before the close of business on the final day of the ticket.

I see you're in FL. I know they let you upgrade the Play 4 Day passes (if that's what you're talking about), and they usually give you SEVERAL months after they expire. We've done it twice.

If the OP is talking about Play Four tickets, they have until October 31st to upgrade. Otherwise, the restrictions from my first post will apply.
