Trading DVC points questions

How difficult is it to trade or sell unused points and for how much is a reasonable amount to ask? It would seem like $10.00 per point is pretty normal.

I haven't sold or traded points yet. I would suggest going to the rent/trade board and reviewing posts there to get an idea. I do hear that $10.00 per point is the going rate, however, with a change to lower when the points are distressed (ie. about to expire, in the holding account, etc).
