What the deal with the trading cards? are these things that you collect while on the cruise? Is it just for kids (:()

Don't ask me how this whole thing works. We just did an Easterns and we attended all the shows and my DD never received any cards.

We got a couple on our cruise in february, I have not figured out who gets them and where....
I think that we got 1 at a show, and 1 when my daughter had to go see the doctor.

In the personal navigators there is a symbol (a rectangle with the traditional 3-circles Mickey (not Travis and Jason;) ) by the events where they are "actively" passing them out (in the "hourly" listing of Activities and Entertinment section of the navigator). In '99 and '02 it was really easy to get them at these activities because they were passing them out to everyone. Now you kinda have to look for the person with the cards and ask (they seem to give them to the kids, but us older kids usually have to ask (we like them for our photo/scrap albums.)

You can also get some cards by asking the correct crew member for one.

the trading cards are being phased out.

I just looked at the recent Westerns posted by Dave and the trading card symbol is still there but only on Mousekateer, Disney Dreams and the ice carving demo.
