tradewinds resorts in st pete beach?

has anyone stayed at these resorts? the island grand looks the nicest. is the sandpiper better than the siarata? heard anything about the howard johnson beach resort in st pete beach florida? thanks

we stayed in tradewinds 3years ago,absoulty beautiful.......we are going to dis 5/6 and then going to st pete beach hojo resort right on hte beach,we'll let ya know how it is!!!!!

the ho jo looks nice too? which resort did you stay at? the island grand is not available. can't choose between the sandpiper, sirata or howard johnson. how is the beach there...is it nice? thanks
