Well, you'd think I would have learned by now. I had decided not to buy the 100 Years series of pins after all the problems with the Millennium series. Then I saw a picture of the Walt and Mickey pin and decided I would like to have that one, so I went out on Saturday and picked up a couple. Then I was reading posts on these boards and decided, what the heck I might as well go for it. So today on my lunch hour I went over to the 5th Ave. Disney Store to get the rest of the pins. I got the binder and all the pins except #7. Would anyone be interested in trading a #7 for my extra #1 or have oen for sale?

A trade is underway. Thanks Tennisnut.

Please email me at KJU304@aol.com if you're interested in making a trade or have an extra #7 for sale.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a pin off Ebay that says it's someone named "Squash McStretch". Does anyone know who he is?

Thanks.

Squash McStretch is a logo character for the Disney Institute. He apparently was featured in the animation classes that they used to teach. He's cute, isn't he.

That's correct Cynthia. He was created by the artists at the Disney Institue as a mascot for the animation dept./programs there. Unfortunately they no longer offer these program except for certain times of the year. :(

AND ... he is a retired mascot. They no longer use him. he was one of 5000 but very few made it to the outside world as he has a nickname of "pencil neck" and most of them broke due to the shipping packing.

Thanks for the information on Squash. I haven't actually gotten the pin yet, so I haven't seen him in person. He looked cute in the picture. I guess he's stuck in the mail backlog caused by the WTC attacks. I hope I get the package soon and that it's not lost. If he's that fragile, I hope he makes it here in one piece! He's coming from Florida.
