Tracy Arm, Alaska - get off ship?

Do you get off the ship in Tracy Arm? DCL Itinerary does not show a guest ashore or guest onboard time, but I see people here posting about excursions in Tracy Arm??

Also, how is the weather in July in AK?

You don’t get off the ship in Tracy Arm. However, there is an excursion to get closer to the glacier by boat. We just admired the beauty without getting off the ship.

We went in late August, not July. It rained every day except for Tracy Arm. The weather was perfect that day and we got to take pictures on the deck with the characters.

On July 4, 2016 for seven day Alaska cruise on the Wonder we were the only cruise to that point that had seven days of sun. The crewmembers were all talking about how it rained the whole time prior.
