Has anyone been following "Dings" close enough to determine if there is any type of pattern being used as far as what time a day, how many x's a day, and if it varies based on what day of the week? Wouldn't be great if you could get some type of automated message (via cell phone, etc) for a specific travel date/destination. That would sure beat having to go online several times a day.

What you're missing is that the targeted population is online ALL day; and we are all just like Pavlov's puppies, hitting that little tail symbol whenever an envelope appears on it. They have me so well trained that I doubt more than 30 seconds pass before I click on it, unless I happen to be in the powder room at the time.

There is a reason that the program was not rolled out until the majority of internet users had abandoned dial-up; you are meant to have broadband, and to hear the bell and respond.

No bell for me, I just look at the Tail at the bottom. :confused3 Its Monday, 1:05pm and NO DING/TAIL as yet! :confused3 :surfweb:

Do they do the dings on weekends or only on weekdays? I can only check at work, so I hope I don't miss one on the weekends.

Yes...they "Ding" on the weekends as well. For me, there were about four or five total between Saturday and Sunday (the majority were on Sat.).
