Does anyone know if you can use Caskbill's programs for more than one contract with different use years? I finally have all of my membership info, and I'd like to get something set up to keep track of everything for me. :goodvibes

That is exactly what it's best at. Program works great and is easy to use.

You can follow the link in my signature below. The DVC-Tracker program is free to track up to 300 annual allocation points. Upgrades to track more than 300 points are available.

DVC-Planner and DVC-Chart are both free.

Thanks for all the responses. I've spent the morning going through the tutorial and entering my two contracts, and it was pretty painless. The Planner looks like a great tool as well, and fun to play with! I did notice in one of them that the banking information doesn't have the "new" rules. Is there an update? I actually downloaded the programs a while back, so I may not be current.

I'm working on updates for both DVC-Planner and DVC-Chart which will include all the changes (MS hours, banking) and will also be Windows Vista complant. They should be released sometime by late Summer.

DVC-Tracker has the new banking rules in place and shows a personal line graph for your contract(s) with dates and a calculation of bankable points.

I'm a newbie, so forgive me if I don't know the answer to this --

Do any of the programs mentioned above help with letting you know when your 7 and 11 month call dates for reservations are available? If not, does anyone have any to recommend?

Thanks!!!

Lisa

Lisa, download the Caskbill program. You won't be sorry.

I just downloaded the tracker but can't find out how to add my contracts to the home screen. How do I do it?

From the main screen, click on the add contract button.

the only buttons that I can click on are the top row POINTS CHART and HELP! and there is a drop down bar that says to select contract but nothing is there and it won't let me type anything in.

I must be having an almost senior moment:rotfl:

I don't see an add contract button. I'm I on the right screen.?

This issue was reported by another user and after checking it turned out they had set some of their display settings which in turn made the text for the buttons larger and pushed them wider (left and right) such that the two outer buttons didn't show.

For version 2.0 I'm adding features to the main drop down menu to also get to these features. In the mean time, if you change your settings you'll see all the buttons. Once you've added your contracts, you can change your settings back as you won't really need that button again.

Here's the email I received from the other user and what they did....

"Well Bill,

That appears to be the problem. The tweaking I've done to my Active Title Bar...even with my font size set to Normal...messed up the title bar on DVC-Tracker. When I tried the Windows XP settings, I can now see the whole title bar...including Add Contract and Exit. I guess I need to mess around with my settings and see just how much tweaking I can do. I'm glad it's nothing worse than this.

So thank you for your patience. I haven't had this type of problem before and didn't suspect it at all."

Hope this helps.

If anyone has any specific questions, feel free to email me at Caskibll@etczone.com

before I mess up my computer (I'm not a computer person) how do I tweak my title bar to get the tracker to work? Boy do I feel dumb.

:cool1: :thumbsup2 I cant wait for this to be Vista Compliant . :( I hate when the program stop working. I love the tracking feature (vista ready) but the planner and chart section needs help for Vista owners.......
