Wow....so very much information. My apologies if my answers are in another thread. I did attempt to look :).

I am a chaperon on my school's Senior Trip to Disney in 2 weeks. We're staying at All Star Music. I have a couple of runners (one of whom is my son :thumbsup2) who need to continue their training while there. Is there anywhere they can run (not jog)? I was hoping All Star Sports had a track, but I'm not having much success in finding out. Does anyone know? Does All Star Music have any areas where they can run? They run the 100m, 200m, and 400m.

Thanks so very much!

I think they would be limited to cross country style running on sidewalks and parking lots.

I haven't been to the All Star resorts, but no Wdw resorts have tracks. He would be limited to walkways and parking lots, maybe he could get up early before people are walking about to do his runs. I would imagine it would be difficult with busy walkways trying to run around people. Early mornings may work.

The WWOS has track and field facilities, but they are not for open use. There are a ton of schools in and out during the early spring for sponsored programs and competitions.

The surfaces of the sidewalks and parking lots are not good for the type of running your shorter distance kids need to do. They risk injury doing that kind of running on sidewalks and parking lots. That could be worse than taking some days off.

If it is really important that they continue training for their events, your best bet is to connect with some local high schools and colleges to see whether there is open time that your students could train.
