Tracfone Phone + 1 Yr Use + 570 Min= $99.45 ~ Nationwide service!

I just found out the answer, sorry! :teeth:

? about the quick rewards - it says no commission on airtime only purchases. Isn't this considered airtime only, since the phone is free? Just wondering if anyone's been paid for this offer. Thanks :)

Yes! This is considered a phone purchase, so you get I think 5.5% back.

I got paid $5.49 when I ordered this Tracfone. First, I clicked on their link to get to the Tracfone website.

After I placed my order, I go back to the "shopping" page and enter my total (99.99) in the little box, then click submit. A new window will open giving you a code. You then forward to QR your confirmation email from Tracfone, with this code as your subject line.

It took a few days to receive my money from QR.

So.....if you did go through the Quick Rewards link when you placed your order, all you have to do is make sure you submit the amount on that shopping area for Tracfone.

Does this help?

NEW CODE ALERT!

Thanks for letting me know that the code on the website has changed!

I went back to my Original post and changed the code for anyone new who orders.

So here's a recap of BOTH the codes they have had out since this deal began:

First code:
Enter 59679 by Mar 21, 2006 for 100 min when you activate a 1-yr card.
~or~

Present code:
Enter 59879 for 100 min when you activate a 1-yr card.

My phone has just been delivered today! Yay! The packing insert said for me to use the 59679 code, so I'll see which one "takes". I'm getting ready to activate it once I charge up the battery.

Important note:

If you are going to use the Refer A Friend deal, the new person MUST have a brand new phone bought within the dates on the email sent to you. Follow the information closely. If the phone is bought and activated outside of these dates, the offer is void, and tracfone will not offer the minutes to you or the person sending them to you.

Also note that in tight periods the email make take up to a MONTH to get to you. Sometimes it takes a few days. Patience is a virtue though, those 100 mins do come in handy!

You can use a refurbished phone.... you just cant use someone elses phone or get the minute when you reactivate a phone of you own.

Also I have had no problems sending someone a referral after they bought the phone. You just have to go though the link when you activate it.

If anyone needs a referral email me:

I sent you a pm.

After ready the thread I was eager to get my mom an emerency phone. I looked into the Tracfone, and someone was even nice enough to send me an email.
My mom lives "in the sticks" in North Carolina, but near Virginia.
Long story short. I went to Walmart and asked the wireless phone lady about Tracphone and my situation.
She told me that Tracphone really isn't that large of a company and the coverage for the area that my mom lives is limited.
So she suggested the Alltel Simple Freedom phone.
I bought the Nokia 6325i phone (i think that's the model) for 39.99 and then a 400 unit card for 99.99 ($141 total, plus a car adaptor, $8)
If you activate your phone online they give you 120 units, unstead of the 40 units if you call them.
So it's 520 units for $141.
When I activated her phone online, I put in her Area code, and got her the same area code phone number. This area code is a long distant call from my landline phone. I've got the new Nokia phone at my house in Virginia , about an hour away from the area code and it is not "saying roaming"
This is a good thing. They double charge the minutes when you roam.
I've been told that analog towers (Verizon and Alltel since they are the oldest/first wireless companies) are 5 mile reacable. The digital towers are 1 mile receptions.
For some who don't live near big cities may want to look into the simplefreedom plans.

Tracfone buys time from other towers. When GS and DH was in a small town in tennessee visiting with relatives DH's nextel would not work. But GS's tracfone worked great.

In our small town our nextels work great since they put up a new tower a few yrs ago and GS's tracfone also gets a full signal.

When i try to call GS's phone and he has it off I get a recording that says the customer you are calling in the alltell network is not available. GS's phone also is not in roaming when he is at his relatives in mt pleasant which is 1 1/2 hrs away. but an hr in the other direction it is roaming.

I don't think GS's tracfone has ever been in an area where he didn't pick up a signal....I will double check with him to be sure.

We live in Cary, North Carolina and just purchased our 2nd Tracfone. I bought the 1st for our DS and then recently added another for myself. The service is great and I really like using the phone when we travel since we have the single rate phone.

To try the phone out for less expense upfront, you could go to Wal*Mart and buy the Nokia 1100 Tracfone for about $19.00. Be sure to get a referral before you activate your phone. With the phone you'll get 20 minutes (if you activate on line-10 minutes if not) and 60 days service . After activating add your 100 referral minutes. Once you do this you will have 120 minutes and 4 months of of service since Tracfone adds another 60 days with the referral. So for about $19.00 you get 120 minutes of airtime and 4 months of service. Before the four months is up you'll need to add more air time or maybe refer a friend and get another 100 minutes free. Also, if you don't like the service or the phone you're only out the $19. Not bad for 4 months of phone service anyway.

That's exactly what I did! Now my time is almost up and I need to add minutes or get a referral from someone. :confused3

I tried the Alltel simple freedom phone today, and was dissapointed! It roamed the whole way to my mom's house. This would be using double minutes.
Hopefully I will be able to trade it in at walmart. I will put up a major argument if they give me any hassle because the sales person persuaded me to buy.
I think that a company called US Cellular has the market in the area where my mom lives. It's a place called Sunburry , North Carolina. Elizabeth City is the nearest big city.
Luckily I have been reading this board, and I didn't activate the $99-400 minute card. So It will not be a problem to return. The phone was $40.
I'm wondering why I wouldn't be able to activate a phone using my area code, and then let her use that one? This way the no roaming phone could still roam and not cost double minutes with Tracfone?
I have Ntelos, and it roams.
I need to make sure the phone I get from Tracfone has no roaming.
