Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

I finally caught up on all your trip reports, what a fun trip you had! Well, minus the medical mishaps...

I should have never listened to my Brit friend - he told me to try those Minstrels and they are AWESOME (like big M&M's, only better)!!! I'm glad I only brought one tube back, I think I would have been in a world of hurt if I would have had more...

You did great by planning ahead and avoiding pizza, way to go! More room for rum-n-cokes and wine that way! ::yes::

You are doing a great job, my friend! I am so proud of you!

I just read your latest installment on your trip report....Sorry to hear about the water bug! Florida bugs scare the heck out of me!:scared: I think the little lizards are cute though. ;)

We used to have a Sea World near us here in Ohio. It closed several years ago and I can't tell you how much we miss it! :( Strangely enough, we've never been to the one in Orlando though. Maybe someday! :)

I hope you have a great day! Keep up the good work!:cheer2:

Tracey, you are doing so great with food and exerise. I need to do interval training, I did that years ago and it worked extremely well!

Minstrels, glad we don't have those here, a big M & M would be something I woudl have a hard time staying away from!

Skipping pizza for Malibu and Coke and wine. Sounds good to me!:thumbsup2

Great job, Tracey!!!!:cheer2:

Once I get back in the swing of things with exercise, I think I will try interval training too.:goodvibes The more calories burned the better!:thumbsup2

Have a wonderful day, WISH sis!

So, we are dying to hear... How did the weigh-in go?

So, we are dying to hear... How did the weigh-in go?

gained 4 lb's...... :( :confused3 :sad2:  :sad1:

needless to say i'm not a happy bunny!!!

off to watch Flashdance the musical.......just what i need eh - lots of super fit women dancing around! :sad2:

That stinks about the weigh-in! You did great with your food and all of your workouts! Do you feel leaner? Could it possibly be muscle gain? Or maybe water weight from too much sodium? Whatever the cause, I'm sure it will go away soon. My body does the same thing, so I know exactly how you feel! :grouphug:

Don't get discouraged, keep doing what you're doing and the scale will eventually cooperate! :cheer2:

Amy - i've never had such a big loss & gain before !! not sure what happened!!
I was very down on friday & we had a birthday in the staff room & i gave into dip!!
also had a lovely massage at the gym that helped cheer me up!

Saturday
we went to see flashdance the musical - very good, but not much like the film
DD & I ate at the 'all you can eat'' chinese buffett - i didnt do too badly!
We went out to a party in the evening & i did well with food their, but drank lots!!
no exercise (apart from dancing!)

Sunday
felt back on track
went to the gym - 700 cals

b/fast - usual
lunch - baked potato, GFY pasta (GFY - good for you range)
dinner - 4 crispbreads with cheese/onion filler

I also felt thinner today, the day before WI i felt very bloated - today i felt more toned!! weird eh!

I've given up trying to figure out the how's and why's of erratic weight loss and gain! It's like a big kick in the gut, isn't it?

Glad to hear you are feeling more toned now, I'm sure next weigh-in will be better!

And dancing IS exercise!! :cool1:

I agree with Amy, trying to figure out why the female body does what it does is too aggravating! To me, it sounds like a combo of bloating and muscle gain. I bet the next time will be way better! Glad you held your own with Chinese, that's not easy!

And I bet I drank more than you did on Saturday night.:faint: :crazy2: ;)

You're doing a great job with food and exercise, Tracey!!! Keep up the good work!:cheer2:

Sorry to hear about weigh-in.... Sometimes, the scale just doesn't cooperate no matter what we do. You are on the right track and doing a wonderful job. Keep on keeping on, WISH sis!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

I couldn't get the link to work either! :guilty:

Your food looks good, and you are really doing well on consistently exercising. Keep it up!! :cool1:

WI...can you believe it NO CHANGE :(
i've walked everyday, gym 3 days, swam 1, food been good for the last 2-3 weeks now!!!!!
i took my waist measurement thinking it must be there - no change, i feel like a have a tyre around my middle!!!
i honestly dont know what else i can do except not eat!!!! but then i wouldnt have the energy to work out!!!
i've booked an appointment back with the nurse, but even she was stumped before christmas!...& so am i!!

b/fast - cereal
snack - banana
lunch - lf noodles, yogurt, pineapple
dinner - planned treat to pizza hut, didnt enjoy it though, the pizza was very dry!! so i ate all those calories & didnt even enjoy it :(

dinner - red pepper/coconut sauce with chk & rice

Was this an Indian dish? I absolutely LOVE chicken pasanda, and that is what this sounds like. I get it everytime I am in the UK!!

I'm sorry to hear about the scale, I know EXACTLY what you feel like, I go through it all the time. It is so very frustrating to work so hard and not see the scale move downwards. And I know that nothing I can say will make you feel any better about it, just know that you are not the only one that suffers from this! :grouphug:

Maybe you should ask the nurse about your food - perhaps you need to have less carbs and more protein or a different combination of things. :confused3

Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing, I'm sure that scale will eventually cooperate! pixiedust:
