Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Dh finally agreed to go for the house, bank agreed to mortgage we wanted, builder wouldnt knock the £3000 ($6000) off :sad1:
We just cant go any higher, they offered to knock off £950, but that was still £2000 too much, i cant believe we lost it over £2000!!!
I'm upset & totally depressed & deflated, just don't want to look at any more now!

My to do list for yesterday was:
. A teacher i work with is studying homeopathic medicine at University & needs case studies - she is coming over this morning to work on my back & shoulders wasnt what i thought it was going to be, it was an interview & then they give me a liquid to take that will supposidly cure me!! was good to get things off my chest in the interview though - like therapy, basicaly i'm an angry control freak!!
. Go to gym, i need to work off this stress! made gym burnt 700 cals
. Get to bank - STILL havnt changed my accounts to my married name!! They have messed me about a lot & sent me to the wrong places! finally got my account changed to married name :)
. Speak to new build people & try to get some £'s off the house!didnt work, lost the house :sad1:
. nicely nag DH worked, but couldnt get the house :sad1:

Food
b/fast - croissant
lunch - 4 crispbreads, yogurt
dinner - fish & chips, 12 squares of chocolate

I'm gutted, i keep hoping the phone will ring & they'll change their mind!
i'm emotionaly drained...off to drink lots of wine !

Thanks for support, just wish it had been better news :(

 Tracey,

I am so sorry to hear that you lost the house. That totally sucks. I think you will find something even better. I know that doesn't help, but wine does.

Take care
Beth

Thanks Tracy
The wine kinda helped (the whole bottle) as did the whole tub of cheese & chive dip with chips!!! but then it made me all emotional & i was a blubering wreck!!!
It wouldnt have been so bad if it had sold to someone else, but to lose it cos we're £2000 short has just gutted me :(

mum, dad, friend & even DH think they'll call back in a week & change the offer & that they're just waiting to see if i come up with the offer as they know how much i loved the house....i did visit it about 12 times!!! Just dont want to get my hopes up & be dissapointed again!

Saturday
b/fast - croissant
lunch - cheese sandwich
dinner - baked potato with cheese & mince, whole tub of dip, whole bottle of wine

Sunday
woke up with a banging headache!!!
went to gym - burnt 770 cals
mum & dad invited us for sunday lunch (to cheer me up) had roast dinner & apple pie :cloud9:
DB, DSIL & their kids are coming over for tea

b/fast - cereal
lunch - roast beef, 2 yorkshire puddings, mashed potato, roast potato, mint sauce & gravy, followed by apple pie & custard

DD came out with a really weird rash Sunday night, gone monday morning then came back again Monday night!!! We could see it spreading in front of our eyes - loads of raised lumps merging into big one on her legs back & arms!
Took a photo of it & took her to see DR today - good job we took a pic as the rash dissapeared again!! Dr said allergy, but we've changed nothing! Said she would be ok as long as she didnt get any breathing difficulties.
Very weird!!!
I managed to get a flu jab whilst we there :goodvibes

Nothing much else to report! I'm not gonna mention the house again, unless there is any news, it just depresses to keep talking about it :(

Hope everyone has a happy halloween :scared1: (thats my ghost ;))

Oh yeah, DD is definitely going to be irked by mom posting the rash pic:rotfl2: . The halloween pic is very cute though. DD13 and DD12 also trick or treated on the pretense of "taking DD4 trick or treating" :rotfl2: . They were very cute each wearing a long white dress, costume jewelry and the fancy masks they bought in Venice a few years ago.

Glad DD is rash free. Skin things are so weird - they just come and go. Scary about the fire at her school. Glad no one was hurt.

That's a great Halloween picture! :goodvibes

Sorry to hear about the fire at your DD's school. I'm glad everyone is safe and that no one was hurt.

Hope you have a great weekend!

:cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :goodvibes :scared1:

I knew those :wizard: had to work

WE GOT THE HOUSE:woohoo:
just a little scared hence the 1 scared smiley!!

I rang the bank yesterday to see if they could raise the extra £2000 ......they could
BUT first i text the sales rep asking if they would re-consider our 1st offer...
We went to a lovely hotel in the country to stay in the bridle suite & have a meal with family & friends to celebrate our upcoming 1st wedding anniversary (on Tuesday).
We had just checked in & i was sitting on the 4 poster bed when i got a text from the sales rep saying ''can you ring me i have good news''
I could hardly dial for shaking!!!
They ACCEPTED the 1st offer :cool1:
So we didnt need the extra £2000!!!
So i anniversary celebration turned into a double celebration :goodvibes
AND my brother accepted an offer on his house yesterday too!!!

I've just been & paid the reservation fee, & they let us put the sold sign up :goodvibes :woohoo: :dance3: :yay:

DD will be home any minitue & i can tell her the news :)

I'm SO GLAD they decided to take the offer!!!

And your anniversary celebration, to boot!!!!

My fav thrift store is opening sometime in 2008 in GB!!!! Not sure what name they'll be using there, but you'll have to check it out! The mgr of the one here, his wife is from abuot an hour from London & her mum is poorly, so he's hoping he can get transferred. Said he'll let me know as soon as all is final & where they will be opening so I can pass it along to you.

Your DD is drop-dead GORGEOUS!!!! They grow up way too fast!!!

Hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS TRACEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is wonderful news. You must be excited. That is awesome that they took the original offer, saving you 2000 pounds! Incredible.

I am thinking that your DD's rash may be contact dermatitis. The upper arm skin is very sensitive. Is she using a new deoderant, wearing wool or cashmere? Allergies can develop over time, and there is a lot of research indicating that there is a hormonal factor with allergies. A 13 yo has a lot of hormone fluctuations. Hopefully, she will remain rash free.

Take care,
Beth

Tracey~

THAT IS WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!:cool1:  :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: I am so happy for you! :yay: :woohoo: I hope you'll post pictures of your new house for us. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

:grouphug: Thanks guys
I'm sooooooooo excited & scared at the same time!!
cant wait to get away from this street & the nightmare parking - we will have our very own double parking spot attached to the side of the house :)
Its a new development but they're only building 22 new homes & its a nice quite culdi-sac!
The garden is lovely - i have trees :) the lounge has french doors opening onto a patio & theres about 15 steps down to a nice sized sunken garden, with a stream on the other side of the fence :)
The house isnt huge - its small but perfectly formed ;)
good sized lounge, dining kitchen, lovely big entrance hall, downstairs loo, upstairs 3 bedrooms & bathroom.
We have future plans to add a conservtory off the kitchen to make a dining room, & maybe extend into the loft for an extra bedroom!
Our house is 100 years old, cant wait to have the nice shiny new one with no work to do!!

Heres a link, it shows a pic & if you click on 'site plan' on the left, it shows you the whole plot - ours is plot 6

Told DD about the house she is soo excited, she has made the house on her sims pc game :)

Tryed to catch up on some sleep in the afternoon, dozed on & off whilst watching a Dois Day movie!

Sunday
b/fast - cereal
lunch - lemon fish, cheesy potatoes, corn cob
dinner - having cheese & ham roll

Went to gym  burnt 660 cals, sruggled on TM again!!

We have friends coming over this evening, just back from WDW, i gave them loads of info, they said they wouldnt have managed without it! Cant wait to hear about they're trip :)

Ideally we should cancell WDW now we're moving ....but thats not gonna happen ;) i told DH this will be our last WDW trip in a while so we have to go & have a blast :)

A busy week ahead - training course all day tomorrow, school trip Tuesday, & solicitors & mortgage to sort out!

Julie - thanks for the compliment for DD, i'm kinda biased ;)
she must take after her mom ;) (i wish lol) please let me know about the new thrift store when you know!

Beth - DD's rash hasnt bee back, hoping its gone now for good!
Thanks for the advice :)

Tracy - i'll take pics when we move in, check out the link for an outside pic :)

Hi Tracey,

the house looks wonderful, and I like where your lot is located. Having a stream in the garden will be really relaxing. The best thing about new construction is that you can make it completely yours. I am so excited for you.

Take care,
Beth
