Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

wooo what a week!!
Tuesday
woke up with a sore throat! teacher sent me to Asda (Walmart!) to buy grapes for a maths class, so i had to buy a big bar of chocolate whilst there!! shared it between me & the 2 teachers! It was more for comfort as i felt so lousy!

Went to bums & tums class :cool1:
went to bed at 8pm

Wednesday
Went to work, felt terrible - bad head felt sick, there is a bug going around school. Managed to stick the day out, but went to bed at 7pm - after eating half a strawberry & apple pie!!!
The teacher i work with was off sick - tongsulitus (SP??)
Cancelled gym, too ill :(

Thursday
woke up feeling all better :)
teacher still off, work was mad

b/fast - croissant
lunch - chk salad
dinner - 3 crispbreads

Went to gym :banana:
Gary didnt have to grit :banana:

Friday
Teacher still off, i had to get 30 7-8 yr old kids ready for a dress rehersal for the play next week - on my own :eek:
I'm shattered!!

b/fast - cereal
lunch - cheese & pastrami bread roll, yogurt
dinner - fish & chips, DD's apple cake that she made at school - yummy & ithink i'm gonna have a glass or 2 of wine, feel like i need it!!

Not get to gym till Sunday now.

Weather finally warming up :banana: It was the 1st day of spring yesterday & we put clocks back tomorrrow :banana:
Get home & DH says hes got to go gritting at 10pm!! Temps in double figures today :confused3
Hoping they will cancel it!

Tracy & Amy - Tom is a distant memory - till next month :(
& i found the remote :)

lovinaz - i'm so gonna miss you :( but i understand why your moving on!
If your ever my way, pop round for scones with jam & cream :)

Wow, what a hectic week! Hopefully the teacher will come back next week and things will calm down for you! :wizard:

Don't worry, I'll still be poking around your journal, just not keeping up with mine... ;) I just made my flight reservations, I will be in the UK from May 14-23, then I go straight to Germany May 23-June 1. I'm definitely not looking forward to being away from my family for 3 weeks. :sad1: But I will be in the UK over a weekend, maybe we can arrange a meeting! I'll PM you when it gets closer to see if we can work something out. :thumbsup2

You are doing great with your working out and your food looks good too (well, minus the pie and the chocolate!), keep it up! :yay:

DD is at a sleep over, planning on snuggling up in front of the fire, its freezing, wheres this warmer weather they forcast :confused3

b/fast - none - too stuffed from curry & wine & finishing off DD's apple cake!!!
lunch - 4 crispbreads, cheese scone with butter on (biscuit!), yogurt
dinner - Having - roast beef with boiled potatoes cooked with red onion & bacon & salad. Got some chocolate for tonight :sad2:

Not been a good food weekend, but will definatly be back on track in the week!

DH & i went to see the movie '300' today, whoooo lots of men in leather underpants, knees hi boots & a cape & all with amazing bodies!!!
That kinda thing doesnt usually do anything for me, but for some reason this movie did!!
The best line was when after a battle, a warrior had lost an eye & was tying a bandage around it, & the king says 'hows that scratch?' & the warrior answers 'i'm ok its only an eye' :rotfl: tough guys or what :lmao:

DS17 went to see 300 - I don't usually like that type of movie, but DD & I may have to rent it when it comes out!

Tracey, you have been really busy! Sounds like you are doing well handling all the stress and I am glad you got a good bum report! I don't think I have allowed my dh to look at my bum in about a decade so I am doubly impressed :rotfl2: ! Hope he didn't have to grit, at least the end of this winter crud is near right? Thanks for always supporting my journal, sorry I have been MIA from yours for several days! Lets have a great week!
 
Just catching up... Congrats on booking your WDW vacation!:cheer2: :cheer2: the planning is definitely a part of the fun for me too :surfweb: . We stayed one night at POP and I can definitely recommend it. Fun themeing and nice room. Good bus service too. We didn't have enough time there to try a poolside mai tai, but ANY mai tai is good in my book:rotfl2: .

You are doing great with your exercise! Nice to see DH notices too.:) Hopefully Spring will really arrive for you and gritting will be done soon for the season.

Oh, at Epcot I had a Cider & Black one day at lunch and thought of you and your ciders. :banana:

teacher dropped that one on me!!!
The other teacher is still off sick so i'm coping with the play alone at the moment too!!! Parents coming to watch tomorrow & Thursday :scared1:
On top of that one of our lead roles didnt turn up & i had to madly 'train' another kid to do his part!!!

Monday

went to work
Went to gym straight from work :cool1:
Then straight from gym to a meeting at DD's school!
Got my dinner at 8.30pm!!!

Went to bums & tums :)

Wow Tracey, very good week you are having! Hope you are getting your Easter project figured out. Keep up your good work! I am amazed at how much you go to the gym (and ashamed of my own lousy exercise habits ;) )!

I HATE projects! That Easter one would have really thrown me for a LOOP! Hope you found one without too much hassle.

Another quickie as we are just on our way out!

Thursday

Went out for dinner with work had lasagne & fries & 5 ciders!!!! :scared1:
& i didnt even feel tipsy & i really wanted to!!!!
I managed to design a nice, simle, effective easter card for the classes to make :)

Friday

Mad Easter fun day at school
morning - set out tables & helped organise the hall for the egg decorating competition
afternoon - bring & buy sale!! It was mad!!!!

Went to gym:banana:

food: :sad2:
b/fast - cereal
snack - lots of chips with dip, a handful of choc finger biscuits- teachers b/day!
lunch - chk salad, yogurt - slab of choc cake - parent made it!!
dinner - slice of toast as i went out the door to a make-up party!
At the party - 1 glass of wine, 1 diet coke, 1 pizza slice, 1 choc shortbread, 2 sausage rolls, big handfull of chips (or 2!!), 1 piece of quiche!

Woke up today feeling bloaty & fat!!!


When i went to the gym on wednesday, i asked a trainer about why i hadnt lost any weight after 8 weeks. She looked at my programme as was shocked to see how much i was doing!!! She said she didnt even know the computer could hold that much on 1 programme!!!!
So she gave me a 2nd programme to do once a week that is just cardio. I gave it a go, but one thing was the rower, the last time i used one i ended up in hospital with a suspected blood clot that turned out to be muscular in my shoulder & i always put that down to the rower. But I decided to give it a go....my shoulder has been killing me since....i've decided i dont do rowers!!!

Gotta go, i WILL catch up - now i'm on holiday :banana:
