Tracey's wedding weight loss attempt (comments welcome & needed!!)

Hi WISH buddies
Wi was a BIG dissapointment, :sad1:
i had a feeling as my clothes didnt feel any looser i actually feel bigger! kinda bloaty around the middle! I think my body may have gone into starvation mode & i have had a headache for a couple of days too. Also wondering if my exercising meant i needed more nutriants this time too (didnt have these problems last time i did induction a few years back)
WI - no loss (no gain either) i know i lost 4 lb's during the 1st 4 days but that was just what i'd gained over xmas!

So i'm cutting induction short, it does say if you want to lose at a slower rate you can go straight onto phase 2, so my plan now is still to cut carbs but allow healthy carbs (& some treats) but in small portions.

Work hasnt helped my headache either the 'dreaded' teacher has been a real pain in the a$$ today:mad: , i'm still way to wound up to even want to think about her right now, i'm trying not to let it ruin my weekend!!

Should have gone to the gym tonight but was so wound up & shattered after work (& having a headache) i decided to come straight home.
Treating myself to some fries tonight & maybe a glass of wine!:cloud9:

So i kinda let myself (& you guys) down, i just want to curl up, Dont think this lousy weather (that has been forcast to last all weekend too:mad: )
is helping either.

induction day 11 (last day :()
b/fast - atkins bar, earl grey
lunch - mexican chk salad, earl grey
dinner - proberbly cheesy fries & a glass of wine!

Sorry for sounding so depressed, defeated & deflated!!!!

Maybe your body is telling you that it needs healthy carbs. Having a constant headache is no fun, that's for sure! I'm sure you can find a healthy eating plan that will allow you to lose weight, hang in there! :wizard:

Glad you listened to your body and are eating a more balanced plan. Remember the long term picture is to lose the weight and keep it off. Sorry the teacher from he%% is giving you grief again. :sad2: Remember to not give up. If you have a bad day, let it go and move on to the next day. :wizard: for a better weekend.

Hi all

well i had the fries & glass of wine last night + dip!!!
I was so phsically & mentally worn out from work that i went to bed at
9.30pm. woke up this morning & had a few tears too!
Dont know whats up with me, i havnt felt this down for a long time!

Today i finally called back a company that has been harrasing me all week, about a longstanding debt from my divorce days that i have been paying back regularly without fail, they've decided out of the blue that now its not enough & want more!!! I say i cant afford to pay more so now i have to fill in paperwork that they're sending out.
I just organise my budget & someone comes along to mess it up!!!

b/fast - atkins bar, earl grey
lunch - 3 crispbread, earl grey
dinner - not had yet!

Planning on doing absoultly nothing today!

I know what you mean about the emotional rollercoaster. I had a bad spell right before Christmas, where I felt like crying for no apparent reason, etc. The good thing is that I snapped out of it after a bit and now things are much easier to deal with. You will snap out of it too, hopefully soon!

Did you enjoy your carby treats? Have you come up with a different eating plan yet?

You didn't and couldn't let us down! We are here to support you with the plan that you do, that works best for you! Induction is very hard and if you had a long standing headache that is definitely your body's way of begging you to do something different! Allowing some good carbs in will make you feel better and have more energy. And your depression may be tied into your being in some sort of starvation mode. So just keep doing what you need to do and doing your best. I hope your mood improves, I have been feelig very down and sad too. Maybe the time of year and just the post Christmas blahs? Hang in there. And don't take any s**t off those collection people! They are just trying to rattle your cage, don't let them.

Hi
Thought i better post my food before i forget what i've had!
Sunday
b/fast - atkins bar, earl grey
lunch - cheese & ham roll & yogurt
dinner - chk curry

Today
b/fast - atkins bar, earl grey
lunch - cheese & ham roll, yogurt, some chocolates :(

DD off sick today, she has a tempreture, sore throat & chest, bless her!
So i havnt been into work today, i have to admit i was kinda relieved after the nightmare day i had on Friday!
Gary is going to take tomorrow off to look after her if she is no better tomorrow.

Didnt realise TOM ws due end of this week so my depression may have been down to that - as well as the weather, eating, not loosing, constant rain & being January (January & Feb are my 2 most hated months!)

On a good note the sun actually came out on Saturday, I SAW BLUE SKY!!!
I'd forgot what it looked like!
So i went for a 30 min walk, which was lovely, really helped clear my head :)
Gotta go & nurse my sick DD she is such a wimp when shes ill - cos its not very often she gets ill so when she does she cant cope!! :)

I hope DD is feeling better soon. :wizard: :wizard: It's hard for a parent to see a sick child!

I bet the pending TOM is the cause of most of your woes, at least you got to see the sun for a little bit over the weekend!

Hang in there, you will be back to your cheery self in no time! :)

I hope dd recovers quickly for both of your sakes! And thats good that TOM came and solved the mystery of your mood etc. I hate January and February too! Every year this 59 days is longer than the other 300 or more days total. Good for you getting some walking in on the good days. Its good for the body and soul to be out in the sun. Hope you get more sunny days and that work gets better. Take no crap off anyone at work!

Another January hater here (can't hate February 'cause it is DH's birthday month :rotfl2: ) All that rain would be hard to take. I'm glad the sun finally came out for you, even for just a little while. Here's pixiedust: that DD will be better soon.

:grouphug: Tracey,

I'm not a huge fan of the winter months either. :( I should be thankful though because we have had a very mild winter. It's just so darned hard to get motivated to do anything when it's gloomy and cold out. Here's hoping for lots of :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: and an early spring!:goodvibes

Sending lots of get well pixiedust: for your DD....

Take care and have a great Tuesday!:beach:

Thanks for the get well wishes for DD, i'm showing them to her now to cheer her up:goodvibes
She is a little better, but still not good!
Gary had today off work to take care of her so i went in, it was ok, everytime that teacher winds me up she is really nice the next time i see her!!
Either she feels guilty afterwards or she is playing mind games with me!!!!
Doesnt look like DD will be back at school tomorrow, so not sure whos having tomorow off yet!!

Food
b/fast - akins bar, earl grey
lunch - chinese chk salad (makes a change from mexican chk!!)
dinner - half a chk pie (shared with DD) with fries, gravy & 1 slice of bread, yogurt.

Didnt make gym tonight, just didnt feel like it! I used the excuse that i was going to to my card making class tonight, but i dont think i'm going there either!!

The rain is back & forcast until at least Friday :(
How i long for a warm sunny day!!
My parents are in Spain for the next 2 weeks lucky things, they called last night & said the weather is lovely!

Using DD's laptop that she had for xmas, its really cool to sit in the lounge with my feet up!!

You have really had a lot of rain this winter! Nice of your parents to rub it in that they are enjoying the sunshine!

Your food looks really good (well, except for the fries!), hopefully you will start to see some results again soon! :)

:grouphug: Tracey,

Rain, rain, go away!:sunny: You certainly have had a lot of rain this year.... Is this typical during this time of year? Just keep on thinking sun, warmth....:beach:

Sending more pixiedust: for your DD.... Hope she's feeling much better soon!

Have a great evening!

Tracy - even for the rainy UK this seems to be a lot more than we're used to!!! Just for a change they are forcasting freezing arctic conditions for the weekend!!! Gary is on call for road gritting arrrrgh!

Gary had today off to look after DD (bless him)
She is making progress but its very slow! I think shes going to go into school in the morning & i will finish work early & bring her home for the afternoon as school is having winter games then & i dont want her doing that...especially as they've forcast....wait for it......heavy rain!!!!

I ended up having a big bar of chocolate last night :(
today
b/fast - atkins bar, earl grey
break - low sugar hot choc drink
lunch - organic wholeweat sandwich with cheese & onion sandwich filling on, strawberry yogurt, strawberries, small pice of black forest gateaux
(a collegues birthday!)
dinner - wholeweat pasta with red & yellow pepper pesto sauce & grilled red & yellow peppers yummy :)

Didnt make card class! my energy levels seem so low at the moment!

The teacher i have been moaning about apologised to me today!!!!
She said she didnt realise what time i was supposed to finish & that even though i thought she was being mean to me she wasnt! I told her i never thought she was being mean! So somebody has said something to her.
At least i think its cleared the air now :)

Gotta say, your weather really does sound awful. :cold: I'm glad the problem teacher has realized she was doing. That should make work much better. Good idea picking DD up from school in the afternoon. Don't need her getting sick/er again.

Try and stay dry & warm for the rest of the week.

Well at least she apologized. Maybe she'll think twice before she pulls that again. And that is really sweet of Gary to stay home with Leanne. I hope she continues to feel better. No doubt the nasty weather isn't helping her to get better quickly! I hope you get a sunny day very soon. Don't worry about the chocolate, sometimes you just need that. And chocolate can be very good for you too. Just hang in there, this is a tough time of year. I hope you get to the gym today or tomorrow, that would probably help you feel better, its just getting there that is so hard!

Hi Tracey~

 I am feeling the winter doldrums today, too. I miss the non-winter 50 degree weather we were having a week ago. :( Hope the weather improves for you soon!:goodvibes

I'm glad to hear that the teacher apologized to you. Hopefully, she will be nice and more thoughtful from now on.:goodvibes

Sending more :wizard: for your DD....

Have a great Thursday!

Well Leanne didnt go to school today, she really wasnt well enough, so i'm off work today! She has just got up & seems better Her throat feels less sore but she is still coughing, & she said she would go to school tomorrow.

Had a small bar of chocolate again last night!
I pulled a muscle in my neck yesterday & its feeling quite sore! & no i wasnt exercising i just looked over my shoulder & pop!!!!
