TR -Dexter and Skylar Drive Mommy Crazy! With Pictures and Videos. Updated 2/17/09

I don't have much to update today. But I do have a question.

When is the best time to buy airfare? Now... 2 months before... 30 days??? What do you think?

Well we are not at Pop anymore but we are still going. Do to FD we lost that reservation and have moved to ASMu for now. This is a trip my in laws are taking the family on so we go where they tell us. I am not complaining at all. So thankful to have great family like them.

your kids are so cute! Free dining! I wanted to do it, but was too chicken to go during hurricane season.

Woow! thats really cool that your in laws are doing that. If everyone is still interested in POP I would keep calling. Maybe someone will cancel and you guys can switch over.

I don't worry about hurricanes in Disney anymore. Both of our Disney cruises were interrupted by them - but we still had fun. I'm more worried about the heat! It was so hot there last fall.

we r going in September and bought it last month and glad we did, it went $300 since.

I would check every day. when u see a good price grab it. the way the airlines are it is like a big game of chance now.

Hi! We will be there the same time! We are doing Chef Mickey dinner Mon 9/22 and LeCellier early dinner when you are doing late lunch! Perhaps we'll meet?!
I haven't gotten flights yet either. I am waiting for SW to release dates on Friday. I have been known to wait until June for a September trip and get good rates. I do get nervous though :)

:thumbsup2 Thanks for joining! I was wondering when SW was going to update.
Where is your family staying? Dexter loves to make friends at Disney World!

Hi there!!! I'm joining in.

Your kids are so cute!

:thanks: I'll be posting more pictures of them as the weeks go on. (I'm a proud mommy)
Dexter continues to ask me everyday if we are going to Disney World now. :)

So I finalized our dinning plans and they are set in stone... unless we decide to change them

20th - Arrive today... no sit down planned
21st - Toy's Town Sqare late dinner (MK extra hours tonight)
22nd - Chef Mickey dinner (just for Shawn, Dexter, Skylar and me)
23rd - Cap N Jacks dinner (lobster better still be included!!)
24th - Le Cellier lunch
25th - Raglan Road Irish Pub dinner (just me and Shawn)
26th - Japan Teppan Edo dinner YUMMMMM
27th - Crystal Palace lunch
28th - nothing yet.. waiting to see what our flight is

Seems like ALOT of food!!! And we still have to fit in breakfast at Fort Wilderness. It is considered a table service but cost about $13 per person, so it's not worth using the dinning plan.
We also want to get a kitchen sink at Beaches & Cream. Shawn actually tried to eat one by himself!!! If you can do it, it's free. He was doing good until he found the 1/4" of peanut butter on the bottom. :rotfl: He didn't feel too good for the rest of the day!

Planning our days around eating is so weird to me... but the dinning reservations book up fast this time a year, so it's hard to 'wing it' if you want table services.:headache:

Let me know if I'm missing one of your favorites. We don't HAVE to do Crystal Palace... we've been there a million times.

So I don't get much time alone with Lil-Sky but Dexter is spending the night at my parents house.
This is what happens when Mommy gets time alone with her baby girl -

Ok - back to Disney... has anyone ever eaten at Raglan Road Irish Pub at Downtown Disney? Our 9 year anniversary is in the beginning of September and we are thinking about celebrating it in Disney. Maybe leave the kids with my parents and go out for dinner & a movie.

What a darling angel baby!! She is precious.

We've eaten at Raglan Road, and really enjoyed it. We went b/c my uncle wanted to eat fish and chips at an Irish pub and have a Guinness...but we all really enjoyed it, it's a neat place!

Thanks! We think so too... even though shes the only reason I am still not sleeping at eleven o'clock at night!! :) Hopefully she'll let me sleep by midnight.
She's worth it! :cloud9:

Finally someone has eaten at Raglan Road!! I was starting to think that we were going to be the only people there. Even the CMs I have talked to haven't eaten there. Now I'm on a mission to try it out. :)

Skylar is in my arms right now and she closed her eyes, maybe I can put her down now!!! Wish me luck!

We typically buy our airfare for our Sept trip in the summer ( for us at least this is when it seems to be the cheapest !)

We are going to be eating at Raglan road for the first time next month. I am so excited I think my husband will love it.

We ate at FW last year for breakfast. It was really good and seemed worth the trek to get there. LEAVE EARLY! We had a car and between switching to the internal FW bus system and driving to the parking area to get to the buses we were a little bit late. About 25 mins! :headache:
The service and food were well worth it and we ended up taking the boat to the MK for a few hours. It was really nice.

We are staying at POFQ. Maybe we'll see you at CHef Mickey's though!:goodvibes

Cute pictures of Skylar.
We haven't purchased our flights let because the prices seem outrageous. I am waiting to see if prices go down. Last year we booked them in May for our Sept trip and they were very low. We are hoping for the same.

My family loves FW... I kinda grew up there. :)
It is out of the way but I really think Trail's End Restaurant is still one of the best deals at Disney.

I hope your right. I'm not booking until something good comes up... I figure it can't get much worse!

:goodvibes It'll be hot, I promise you :) I don't worry about the heat since we live in a hot area anyway (Southern part of NC). But it is yucky (especially for the baby). Hoping for lots of Pixie dust your way :tinker:
