Oh, and I just put up our countdown calendar - Kris gets to take off the first mickey head. Underneath each day is a random number that represents a dollar amount in Disney Dollars. Each of them will end up with $25 Disney Dollars to spend :-]

WOO HOOTY on One Month

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Your itinerary looks awesome :thumbsup2

Those tickets are cute :goodvibes

I love the countdown calendar and doing the disney dollars with it...very neat idea :thumbsup2

It won't be long now! I bet the girls are so excited!

Wow, you will have a long day on the 12th! I'd be stumbling to the airport at that time of the morning too. Where is the Rainforest Cafe? Is that in Downtown Disney? Are you gonna make it by 11? Your itinerary looks like so much fun. The fam will have a blast, I'm sure.

Cool calendar. I'm sure they'll be happy with their Disney Dollars.:thumbsup2

Yup Sharky, we're getting close now :yay:

TY on the itinerary ...it gives us a starting point anyways. We'll see how well we stick to it ;)

Yeah, cute tickets - very festive :dance3:

I stole the dis dollars under the calendar days from someone else here on the boards, don't remember who :confused3

Hey Tat! Right now the girls (and Kris) are recovering from their first week of school. I'm sure they'll get more excited as the days start really coming off the countdown calendar

Yes, combining a travel day with a park day is always challenging, but fun too! The Rainforest Cafe is in Downtown Disney, just a short walk from the Disneyland Hotel :thumbsup2 And when I made the reservation they said it was no problem if we were late, they'd still honor it.

We're hoping to have a good amount of fun, but still have some down time every day (except Monday) so we can rest. I figure I'll be down at the pool with the kids and Roxy will be snoozin' in the room :cloud9:

Yes, Kris has pulled his first mickey head off the calendar and so has Bean. She was a little disappointed because she only got a dollar and Kris got three. But I assured her that she'll get some bigger numbers as we go :goodvibes

So I'm a newbie to your thread- but we're also going in October. I was there just a few weeks ago, and the lovely people in City Hall gave us a flier showing their "haunted holiday tour" was back this year (they had 2 years ago as well). Well this year it's even cooler- the attractions are different (you get to do the new "haunted" space mountain) as well as reserved seating for the new haunted holiday fireworks display for halloween...

You MAY already know this- but I thought I'd share it because I was super excited- also wanted to say I adore your shirt designs!

Have a great trip!!

Hey There Jenn! Thanks much for stoppin' by :goodvibes

Yes, I have been reading on that tour and am tempted, have to see how things come together. I just hope the Santa Ana winds give us a break and the fireworks go off each night. The big thing for us will be the Trick or Treat party - we're going as pirates (along with hordes of others I'm sure) and are really looking forward to it :yay:

Thank you on the shirt designs ...let me know if you and yours would like any of the designs done up with your DIS Names. I can easily modify them from the photoshop templates and send you a link to download them :thumbsup2

I see you're from Phoenix, I lived there for about a year and a half - just off of Deer Valley Road up at the north end of town. Loooonnnggg time ago though.

Have a great day! :)

I read a review about it and it counds like great fun. Maybe we will do it one year.

It looks like fantastic fun for sure Michele. But after further talk about it, we just can't swing the extra $250 (after Disney Visa 20% discount) is would cost to do it this time. But something to keep in mind for our next Halloween adventure there!

Oh, and as an aside, I already know what our next Disney adventure is going to be! They've confirmed that the Disney Wonder cruise ship will be doing the Alaska cruise route starting in 2011 ...we hope to book a cruise on it for sometime in 2012!!! :rotfl:

It is a bit pricey if there are more than two of you isn't it? That always plays a part in my decisions concerning things like tours. I figure our kids are all getting old enough that Scotty and I can start doing the tours and things and letting the kids hang together as we do that kind of stuff.

Heheh, I'm looking forward to that ...but we're still a few years away from it ;)

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: what a great idea with the Disney $$$.

Awesome!! Can't wait to see some pictures of them :goodvibes

Kyra's came in yesterday and we all tried them on - everyone's fits! Just have a few more accessories to get together for the kids and for my Barbossa pirate hat to come in.

We'll do some pics after everyone has everything ;) :thumbsup2

Ha- it must have been, Deer Valley isn't quite the north end of town anymore :)

Hope you have a great trip- I totally understand about the tour, thankfully for now it's just the hubby and me, so we are getting all these fun and fancy things in before the kiddos come around :)

OMG! I just looked at the area and you are so very right. I used to go to Deer Valley Middle School (back when it was Deer Valley Jr High) and there used to be NOTHING around it ...now there's a whole world packed in around it. :lmao:

They are pretty cool - thank you very much! :yay:
