TP Assistance/Advice Needed

I am a Touring Plans Newbie, using it to plan our first Florida Vacation (both WDW and US). I have talked my vacation party (8 of us) into using TP for our US IOA day.

Here is the skinny..
We plan on being at US IOA on Sunday, June 19th. We are not staying on site and we will not have Express Passes. I have used the Personalized touring plans to make up my plan and it shows that we will have everything done by 5pm or so. My longest wait is 21 minutes for Forbidden Journey at 3:13 in the afternoon. Here is my plan https://touringplans.com/plans/19662534 .

In your experience is this too good to be true? I have time to adjust because I would rather not spend the rest of our 14-day vacation eating crow.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcome.

When I open the link it states I do not have access to the plan

So I have no idea of your schedule

One thing I can say about any touring plan is it does not take into account if a ride goes down and no idea when it will resume operation

Also. Some rides go down when lightning is within 5 miles away
Coasters are closed then

Crowd levels can change the day you are there
Could be due to tour groups or weather conditions are pleasant which will bring more locals to the park

These are just general thoughts as I can not see your actual touring plans by time set up

Arghh. I clicked on this thread hoping to help you out with toilet paper assistance. I guess we have one acronym too many.

In regards to having touring plans; be flexible. I had a breakdown once because the kids wanted to do Tomorrowland Speedway (couldn't walk past it without them running into the long line). I freaked out. "This is not the plan!" Not my best display. In the grand scheme of things, it was a first world problem to say the least.

You won't have to eat crow if everyone is having fun and if the plan goes awry, just go with it.

I can see flaws but need to check somethings before I say much more about those plans

The second ride is dudleys water ride which will soak you
So you want to spend a good part of the day walking around with wet undies, shoes and socks?
Are you planning to bring a change of clothes and use a locker ?

The 4 th ride is another water ride
JP river adventure might only splash you or might get you more wet than you want to be

I'll try to figure out the time schedule as I believe that is what you really are interested in knowing

Sometimes it is difficult to predict in advance if you are expecting your tour plan to be close to 100% accurate

Weather, tour groups, ride breakdowns
can happen while you are there which can through a wrench into your plans

I love using touring plans and used it to do my WDW vacation in October, and everything was pretty accurate. I am using it for my Universal/IOA trip, but not real seriously because we have express passes. We are going to be there next week, and I thought some of the wait times it's listing for you are on the low side for a level 9 crowd day. I'm not sure how they get hippogriff only a 5 minute wait all day on a level 9 crowd day when today it is a level 5 and there is a 35 minute wait currently (and has been fairly consistently when I've check all week) You can go ahead and get the lines app on your phone and check it every so often through the day to see the wait times listed. (or use the universal official app). I've done that a few times in the past week, but this week is supposed to be much lower crowds than after the 14th, so they may still be a bit off.
I used it VERY seriously the first 2 hours of touring since you can get the most done then. My Magic Kingdom plan was right on almost to the minute up until lunch time. Then I relaxed a little. I saved the "not as crowded" things to do between lunch and dinner when it is usually more crowded and just kind of went with the flow.

We are looking to move the water rides to later in the day and we will not be riding Kong, even if its open. Our priority will be Harry Potter but are trying to balance that with standing in line. We fly from CA to FL the day before and will still be adjusting to the time change/early flight time.

moving the water rides will work out well.
no worries of bringing change of clothes and usage of a locker then.

the last one or two hours before park closing makes line waits for potter ones less of a wait.
for those that have been in the park from opening, the crowds tend to thin out in the last two hours at the parks.

Hogwarts Express: they won't let you ride without the upgrade to a park-to-park ticket. That's a $50 upgrade for one attraction.

Good Morning!

I have been using the evaluate button on TP and rearranging my plans with the idea of doing HP first. The reported wait times do not change much so I am thinking they are just off. Maybe just this day? Or, just off for USO in general.

Keeping that in mind, what should my suggested plan be?
