Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Tracy, I'm sorry to hear that you're having a rough time. I thought summer was supposed to be more relaxing. Please take care of yourself and schedule some "Tracy" time and try not to let the stress bring you to tears. (Although we all need a good cry every once in awhile.)

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and I want to see some Tracy time on your list of goals! Hang in there!

Thanks Denise. :hug:

Yesterday was another very busy day. :( I keep telling myself that Sunday will be here before we know it. That's the only day we have nothing to do. We were invited to a birthday party, but I think we're going to decline the invite. We need some family time and my poor DH needs some extra sleep and some down time.

Today's Plan:
* Surveys
* Laundry (1 more load!)
* Make dinner (crockpot chili)
* Work for DH
* Meet my friend for a walk and chat
* Change Jar
* File coupons

I'm a bit glad that June is over. Trying to stay on the Big Board at SR was TOUGH. It was kind of stressful the past couple of weeks, but once the final numbers are in, I should be in the top 8!:banana: I can't wait to figure out what to cash out for!:banana:

Weigh-in is scheduled for tomorrow. With all of the stress, I have been eating comfort foods this week. Lots of carbs! I'm sure the scale will reflect that. :( UGH.

Hope everyone has a nice day today!:grouphug:

Tracy, I am so proud and impressed with how great you do with SR. That is really something to celebrate, I can't wait to hear how you cash out! I just can't seem to get on board with that, maybe when I get back from Dallas next week I can hit it hard and get going!

Stress and comfort foods, boy can I relate! Some weeks are harder than others aren't they?

I hope your Sunday is relaxing, you guys have earned it!

Thanks Amy. :hug:

I woke up very sore and pretty tired this morning. :( My DD9 and I cut my parents' grass and our grass yesterday evening. It took 3 hours. It would be much easier if the self propelled part of the mower worked. It's broken and that essentially makes the lawn mower a push mower. A very heavy one at that. :(

The busyness continues...I am so looking forward to Sunday. A day with nothing to do!:banana:

Today's Plan:
* paperwork for DH
* surveys
* laundry
* get coupons filed!!! (This has been on my to do list for days now. :blush: )
* workout? (really tired at the moment)

Weigh-in went well...I lost 2 pounds this week!:cool1: I guess the marathon of mowing helped. :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!:grouphug:

Congrats on 2 lbs gone!! Lawn mowing will do that! AWESOME!

Hope Sunday is REALLY REALLY relaxing & fun for you. You certainly deserve it!

How do you file your coupons? Mine always seem to be in a horrid mess!

serendipity- Welcome!!!:welcome: Thanks for stopping by my journal!:goodvibes Glad that you're here with us!:goodvibes

Julie- I file my coupons in a medium sized accordion coupon file. I have envelopes with different categories (dairy, cereal, canned goods, frozen, e.t.c.) in each section and I put my coupons in the envelopes. I still haven't gotten any of my coupons filed today. :blush: I've been working on surveys!:thumbsup2

:cool1: 2lbs gone!!!:cool1: Awesome girl!!!!:cool1:

I hope you are making in through the end of the week. I completely understand the looking forward to a nothing day. I hope you have a fabulous one on Sunday. :hug: I'm with Denise, I thought summers were suppose to be easier, but I am so looking forward to school starting again and back to schedules.

:worship: Love your SR balance!:worship: How absolutely wonderful you have done.

Have a great weekend and please truly do nothing on Sunday unless it is something completely fun for the family. You (and DH) seem to need the re-charge time. :hug:

Thanks Lisa. :hug:

We had a nice day on Sunday. :goodvibes: The good news is that today should be the last day of extreme busyness for awhile. :thumbsup2

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (2/6)
* Workout
* Finish laundry
* Work for DH
* Clean the bathroom
* Order gift cards from SR (which ones?!?!?)
* Visit with DH's aunt and uncle from Florida

The girls and I need to work on their school portfolios this weekend. I also need to do some thinking and praying about homeschooling next year.

We're almost to the 60 day mark until our WDW vacation!:banana: I can't wait!!!!:yay:

Hope everyone has a nice day today!:grouphug:

It's so exciting to have a trip so close out. My DH and I are going to the Canadian rockies next Friday and can't wait :goodvibes. That being said, I am slightly terrified of undoing all of my hard work that week!

Tracy -- It is so exciting to think of how close your trip is! :banana: Congratulations on your WI! :woohoo: Keep up the great work! Just think of how much more fun you will have in WDW for being so much more fit. :hug:

Tracy, congrats on that two pound loss, that is awesome! So glad you had a down day on Sunday, we all need those and they can be hard to come by.

I always find that last two months so much fun, you have the anticipation in full gear but the trip is close enough that it feel real. Its hard to believe your trip is that close, I remember when you were just excited to be at the 180 day mark to make your ADR's!

Thanks so much for you pm, that was my first indication fd had been extended so in a way, I owe all those free meals to you!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

My DH finished up his extra work today!:banana: Now all we have to do is get the paperwork to the post office tomorrow morning and we're all set!:thumbsup2

I finally cashed out at SR!:cool1: I ended up getting a $50 Walmart Gift Card, a $100 Disney Gift Card, and a $25 Outback Gift Card. :cheer2: I'm going to use the Walmart gift card for things for our trip, the Disney gift card as "fun money" in September, and the Outback gift card for our December trip. :goodvibes

The next few days are gonna be kind of busy here...We need to get the girls' school portfolios done and we're going to do some serious cleaning and de-junking around the house. Plus, I need to do surveys as well.

I'm hoping to have the package portion of our trip paid off soon. My DH doesn't deejay again until next weekend so we may have to wait until then.

Hope everyone has a nice evening!:grouphug:

:hug:Awesome! 60 days to go! Doesn't seem possible...time flies.

Great choices at SR. I cashed out my 2nd $25 chili's yesterday. Yum!

Hope the rest of the week goes well for you!

Tracy -- It must make it so worth the time and effort invested when you get to cash out for GCs that you can really use. I am so happy for you!! So, do you have free dining like Amy? What a great cost-savings!

So glad DH's extra work is done; hopefully you can both take it a bit easier. Have a great day! :hug:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Sounds like you're going to have a great time! Have a great weekend :)

Have a great and relaxed weekend Tracy!

We're headed to HersheyPark and my DD's house. I'll post when we get back.

Tracy,

That is great news you cashed in and got those gift cards! The Wal Mart one will be very handy, I am always amazed at how much I spend there right before the trip on various things.

Good luck getting that pkg. paid off, that is always the best feeling!

Have a great weekend.:goodvibes

Thanks ladies!:grouphug:

What a weekend!:eek: DH had to go out of state for work and has been gone since Thursday. He's on his way home now, but it has been a long weekend following a long couple of weeks of work. He is taking the day off tomorrow and we're planning to do something fun as a family.:goodvibes

We're almost down to the 60 day mark for Disney! I can't wait!!!:cool1: We're only planning to be in one park this trip (Epcot) so we'll have lots of time to rest, relax, and eat of course. (Gotta love free dining!:love: )

I forgot to weigh in on Friday. :blush: I woke up and sat on our porch swing for 3 hours, listening to the rain and writing in my journal. I have been really stressed the past few weeks and didn't realize how tightly wound I was until I sat down and did nothing. :( Sigh. Finding balance in life can be so hard!

Well, I've got a few more things to do before my DH gets home. Hope everyone has a nice evening!:hug:

Tracy, that sounds like just what you needed on Friday morning. Some down time in the rain and quiet to reflect and think and write. You needed that!:hug:

So glad you guys will do something fun tomorrow, you need that too!

Epcot is a good park to do when you only do one! So where are you eating? I bet you have it posted, I need to scroll back and do some drooling!:laughing:
