Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

The beach was great! Unfortunately, my DH and I got sunburned even though we had sunscreen on. :( I can still feel the effects of it today!:headache:

The past couple of days have been hectic. Plus, my DH has had a lot of work drama that has been draining for all of us. Praying that it all works itself out and soon.

Some good news....I cashed out on Monday for yet another gift card. This time I chose a $25 Outback card for $23. :banana:

Speaking of SR, my goal now is to make SM Plus. That means I will have to have earned $250 in this quarter which ends June 30th. I'm at $155.21 right now. It's gonna mean a lot of surveys, some offers, and some shopping, but I think I can do it!:wizard: I'm gonna try anyways.

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (4/6)
* Workout (Zumba)
* Work for DH
* Library
* Grocery store

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!:grouphug:

Wow, Tracy! You are SO GOOD at SR!! I still haven't really looked at it, but I need to!

Sorry about the sunburns & DH work probs. Seems to be rampant any more. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all just win PowerBall??

I hear you on losing the same pounds over & over again! It's a vicious cycle.

Hope today is a good day for you! Enjoy!!

Tracy - You and my friend April are SR superwomen!! I am so impressed! I know it takes a lot of time and planning and effort. :woohoo:

I saw the thing on there about SM Plus and I am betting you can do it! Gotta say, those surveys are sort of addicting. I have made almost $5 so far! I have surpassed a Mickey Bar and getting towards a turkey leg!:rotfl:

Did you use old sunscreen? It loses its strength over time. Found that out the hard way myself.

I will say a prayer for your dh's work stuff. I am sorry you have to go through that. :hug:

Saw that you could do an Outback card like that, glad you got one!

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday was a particularly frustrating day for me. :mad: There is A LOT of chaos in our home right now and it is really bugging me. Work issues, financial issues, extended family issues, washer and air conditioner issues, decisions not being made about things issues, clutter everywhere I turn issues, a puppy that destroys things issues, e.t.c. I sat down with my journal last night and came up with some ideas to help alleviate the chaos and plan on sharing them with my DH today.

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (4/6 right now)
* Laundry (maybe...washer is leaking! :( )
* Workout
* Brainstorm some ideas
* Have coffee with DH at Caribou? (if MIL watches the girls)

Another weigh-in tomorrow...Not sure what the scale will say. I've worked out every day this week and food has been so-so.

Hope everyone has a nice day!:grouphug:

Tracy -- Kudos to you for getting in the workouts with all you have going on. I hope the weigh in is great, but if it isn't all you hope, remember that having the workout routine in place and being cognizant of the food is worth so much more than a number on the scale. I hope you can tame some of the chaos around you. :goodvibes

Tracy, I am so sorry about all your issues! Good for you writing those things down, that really helps you identify what is going on so you can address it. I hope you and your dh made it to Caribou. Time away from the kids to talk is always a good thing. Hang in there sweetie.:hug:

Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow, you have done great with those workouts so no matter what, be proud of yourself!:thumbsup2

I....am.....exhausted. :( I mowed my parents yard and our yard today. :faint: It took about 3-4 hours total since my parents' backyard is swamp-like with all the rain we've had. I am so worn out! :(

Weigh-in: blah!:headache: The scale showed a 2 pound gain. Not sure how that happened. Food hasn't been perfect, but much better than it used to be. Plus, I've been working out every day as well.

I got 6/6 surveys at SR today and all of my shopping is pending!:banana: I'm glad that we waited until this month to buy the stuff DH needs for work. I think I have a couple more purchases that need to be made. Hopefully, it will all help me make SMP this month!:wizard:

Rest of the evening plan:
* Relax a bit (nap?)
* Dinner- spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread (Meatballs are in the crockpot!:goodvibes)
* Disney Meeting- Budget Update (if I can stay awake!)

We have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow. Trying not to think about it tonight though. ;) Way too tired!

Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!:grouphug:

That's a lot of mowing, Tracy! And definitely exercise!!

Sorry about the scale. Mine is being terribly mean, too!

Awesome job at SR. I am so continually impressed!

Hope the weekend goes well.

Tracy, that is one heck of a lot of mowing! No wonder you were so tired. Did you stay awake for your Disney meeting?

That is awesome you got your six surveys done, now I know what that means and how long it takes to accomplish that!

I got your pm, yeah either the monster code or free dining would be great. But so far nothing for me! I am still hopeful. I am about 99% sure we are going to have to downgrade to a value and if we could get the free qs dining, that would be a very economical trip. If we get to go at all.

Sometimes when you really bump the exercise the scale won't show it for a week or two. Don't get discouraged. But I know it stinks. Boy do I know it!

Tracy -- If you were working out in the heat, don't forget that your body will retain a lot of fluid in self-defense. ;) You are in a routine and doing so well. Don't let the scale discourage you at all. SO proud your hard work and discipline! :hug:

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Our weekend was way too short. :( I woke up super early this morning and spent a good part of the day refereeing the girls whining and arguments. Very draining. :(

No workout yet. I'm hoping to get a walk in with the family a little bit later on. The weather is rather fall like here. :goodvibes

Got my 6 surveys at SR today!:cheer2: It really helps that my DH can take some of them too. :thumbsup2

My DD9 and I made raspberry cheesecake bars for dessert this evening. Yummy!:goodvibes

Hope everyone has a nice evening!:grouphug:

Hey Tracy, sorry I haven't been around more often. I remember those summer days when I played referee too. LOL! I hope the girls have a better day today.

The weather is great here too-no humidity. When I walked out the door yesterday morning I thought the same thing that it felt like fall. I love the smell of fresh, clean air! I hope you were able to get your walk in cause it was a great day to be outside!

You do so great with the surveys! Those that I've tried so far did not let me continue. I think I'm too old and not within the demographics. Oh well, I'll try some more again when they come along.

Your vaca is getting so much closer. Don't you love the anticipation of an upcoming get-away? Planning is so much fun too!

Have yourself a great day and I hope you don't need your referee whistle!

Thanks Denise. :hug:

Another long day yesterday. :( I guess my DDs didn't get the memo that mom is getting tired of the whining, complaining, and arguing. :rolleyes: UGH.

I tried a new recipe from the $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook yesterday. Turned out really yummy!:goodvibes We'll be having fettuccine alfredo for dinner tonight from the same cookbook.

Today's Plan:
* Surveys (DONE! 6/6)
* Work for DH
* Organize the stack of papers on my desk
* Workout

I'm waiting for two purchases to go into pending at SR- Restaurant.com and Magazines.com. I need to make one or two more purchases by this weekend. One more for ink and maybe a pair of dress shoes for my DH.

Speaking of SR- Amy: Thank you using my referral link when you signed up!:hug: When you made it over the $5 mark, I got a $2 bonus in my account. That definitely helps me on my quest to make SMPlus!:banana: Thanks so much!:goodvibes

Well, that's about all from cold, rainy Ohio. Hope everyone has a blessed Wednesday!:grouphug:

I'm finally getting into SR, tracy! I've actually made a few surveys. Almost at $5. I, like Dee, don't seem to qualify for many.

Hope your house calms down a bit. Definitely summer when the kids whine & complain.

Have a great Wednesday!

Starting with some good news....Our timeshare is officially paid off!!!!:banana:

Moving on.....

Yesterday was another long day. :( The girls have been frustrating me to no end. I stayed up after everyone else went to bed last night and did some journaling. I realized that the girls are just mirroring my behavior. I have been whining and complaining just as much as they have. So much for being a good example for my kids. :( The good thing is that today is a new day and I'm going to try and be more positive today. We'll see if that helps....

Today's Plan:
* Be more positive! ;)
* Surveys (4/6 already! :cool1: )
* Laundry
* Workout
* Work for DH
* List stuff on eBay (need the money to get my dad's Father's Day Gift!)
* Make chili in the crockpot for dinner

One of my goals for today is to get the Disney budget done. I'd like to make a chart or poster of some kind so that everyone knows where we stand.

I hope everyone has a great day! :wizard:

Happy Saturday!:cool1:

Yesterday was a long day. I cut my parents' grass and our grass as well. It took a little over 3 hours. :( I was worn out the rest of the day and got absolutely nothing else done.

Today I woke up and my allergies were out of control. :( I ended up taking a Benadryl a little while ago.

Here's hoping the day gets better. ;)

Weigh-in was okay yesterday. It showed no gain, no loss.

Hope everyone has a nice Saturday!:grouphug:

Tracy, summer brings so much fun and sun, but it brings about whining and arguing too! I wish I could say it will get better as the years pass, but you know I'd be lying!

So glad you got that $2 bonus, I have not gotten a survey done in a week and its really making me mad and sad. Just not enough time while family is here. But I intend to get back on it come later in the week!

Its fall for us too, in fact it feels like winter in some ways!

Good job on the mowng and great news on the time share. I didn't even know you had a timeshare!
