Toystoryduo's Journal....Moving Forward From Here

Thanks Deb, Barb, Amy, and Lisa!:grouphug:

Happy New Year everyone! party:

I have my goals in place for the year and have decided to break them down by monthly goals. I'll share those tomorrow. ;)

Woke up this morning tired and with a semi-sore throat. The girls have been sniffling and sneezing the past couple of days so I figure this is the beginning of a cold. I'll have an orange for breakfast and try and take it easy today.

Today's Plan:

* Straighten up the house (Don't I say that every day? )
* Have pizza at my parents' house for dinner (maybe)
* Come home early and chill out with my DH and kids and watch the ball drop in Times Square

I'm almost at the $100 mark at SR...In a few days, I'll be able to order a Disney gift card and apply that to our September trip!

Hope everyone has a great day! Happy New Year! party:

Wow, yearly goals?? :worship: Sometimes I can't even decide what to have for dinner for the week! ;)

I know you are going to have a GREAT year and make lots of progress on your weight goal. :cool1:

Ugh, I hope you manage to ward off anything that is trying to sneak up on you and turn into a full blown cold or flu. I'm a big believer in vitamin C and echinacea (I think I mangled the spelling).

Have a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Tracy!

I am anxious to hear about your goals for the year and maybe get some ideas myself!;)

I hope you don't get a cold, my kids have been sniffling and sneezing all week too and I am so hoping they get over it before school starts back up.

Good job posting the food and throwing out the gross cheese dip. I have been known to eat nasty junk food just to eat something bad and sometimes just taking the time to throw it out is a huge step! 2010 is our year. And I mean it this time:goodvibes:cool1::hug::cheer2:

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone!:grouphug:

Happy New Year! party:

We stayed home last night and just relaxed. We did make it to the ball drop, but we were all in bed soon afterwords.

I am making two sets of goals this year: yearly and monthly. My goals for the year are:

1. Lose 40 pounds...That will put me in Onederland and hopefully, keep me there. ;)
2. Pay off 3 more debts
3. Earn $600 at SR by October 31st.

My goals for January are:

1. No buy days-4 per week
2. Workout 3 times per week
3. Earn $50 at SR by the 31st

We're looking at two Disney trips this year. One in September (free dining again) and one in December (annual trip). I need to earn as much as possible at SR and other sites to make this happen. I started the New Year off right...I cashed out for a $30 check today from one of my survey programs. I'm also just a few dollars away from a $100 Disney gift card at SR. Woohoo!:woohoo:

Well, that's about all from here...Have a wonderful day!:grouphug:

Great goals! I like the monthly and yearly breakdown because then you get the fast success as well as the long term satisfaction. Hopefully by this time next year you'll be celebrating losing those pounds!

Those survey sites sound interesting. I've been doing Demand Studios (writing website) for a while now around my other two jobs and am making decent $$. Hubby's paycheck pays the main expenses and mine goes for the fun stuff so that is good incentive.

As usual, great goals! :thumbsup2 Did you get the Shred DVD yet? If not, I guess you will have to get it on one of your "ok to buy" days! :goodvibes

Happy New Year, Tracy! Your goals sound very reachable! I like the dividing of them rather than having to look at the big picture.

Hope you have a GREAT new Year's day!!

Okay, just got shout it out here too:

:cheer2:The OHIO State Buckeyes are the ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!:cheer2:

Back to regularly scheduled posts tomorrow. ;)

Excellant! I have been so busy the past six weeks that I have not been able to work at any of the sites properly. Your successes are such an inspiration to me.

Congratulations!!!!

Thanks Lisa. So far, I have only earned 1 cent at SR this new year! Up until now, I haven't had any problems getting surveys, but I haven't been able to get one the past couple of days. I just started a new rewards program called Simple GPT. Right now, I'm just doing the paid clicks and that can earn you up to $2.00/day! If you multiply that by a 30 day month, that's $60 right there! If you want a referral, let me know. :goodvibes

Today, we have my cousin's 13th birthday party and the weather is looking super iffy. :( We live in the secondary snow belt and are expecting anywhere between 3-12 over the next 24 hours!:scared1: Please pray for safe travels for us today. We are hoping to be home safely by early evening.

Today's Plan:
* Movie (birthday party)
* Lunch out (birthday party)
* Rewards programs
* Clean out and reorganize kitchen cupboards

That's about all from here...Have a great Saturday!:wizard:

hope you have a safe journey and back to/from your cousins Tracy.

Hopefully the weather cooperates and you have safe and stress-free travels to the party! :wizard:

Good wishes from me on the weather too.

Hopefully the surveys will pick up now that the holiday mayhem is over.

Tracy, I love your goals and think those all sound very attainable. I know you can do it!

Hope the surveys pick up, I still have the information you gave me on SR and I still need to get on that. I put off everything.:sad2:

I hope the weather cooperates for you to get to the party.

And I was happy for you last night, I watched the last half of the Rose Bowl with my stepdad, he was heartbroken because he graduated from Oregon in 1946 but I assured him I have a good friend in Ohio so he was happy for you! I love that coach at Ohio State.

Thanks ladies. :grouphug:

Yesterday went really well!:thumbsup2 We went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (movie cost $1.50/person!) and had lunch at Hometown Buffet. The weather cooperated for us nicely. :goodvibes

It has been snowing like crazy this morning! My DH went to work around 6:30 a.m. and got home at 10:00 a.m. and said that at least 4 inches of snow had fallen. Once it stops, I'll be outside shoveling our driveway and maybe my parents' driveway as well. That will be my exercise for the day. ;)

Today will not be a no spend day. My DH has a job he needs to go out to so I will have him pick up 3-4 more newspapers. Great coupons this week! We'll probably do a CVS run later and maybe a Walgreens run as well. No Rite Aid run until my gift certificate comes in the mail.

SR is only at $0.48 for me right now. I haven't been able to get a survey at all! :( That total will go up tomorrow as I have one survey that will post and my bonus and SM bonus should post as well.

With Simple GPT, I'm already at $3.03 so far for just two days of clicks. Love it!

Well, that's about all from here. Have a great Sunday everyone!:grouphug:

Well, that investment in the newspapers will most definitely pay off!

I'm glad the weather cooperated for your outing. Sounds like it was fun.

Happy New Year Tracy - sounds like a nice quiet night. We like to keep things low key also...

I like your short term and long term goals. I often do that myself. It keeps things in perspective

Good luck with the extra cash :) A few years back, I used Pine Cone Research - they pay $5 a survey..i did a ton of stuff like that, then moved to paid blogging, then moved out of all of that and do internet marketing now...took years to build up, but its' been a great learning experience.

Cloudy was such a cute movie...really liked that.
