Thanks Amy and Tracey!

Good morning friends,

I managed to get a nice walk in this morning.... 1.85 miles using my shiny new pedometer that I got for Christmas. After my shower, I will put it in steps mode and see how many steps I take....

I want to apologize for not getting my trip report done... I just haven't had the time. Instead, I will give you a brief summary of highlights and un-highlights of the trip......

Highlights:

* The weather was beautiful! Swimming in December?!?!? Who knew!

* The house was pretty cool! It was about 3 times the size of our house here in Ohio.... A bit shocking at first, but we got used to it. ;)

* MVMCP: Last year we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and had an amazing time. This year, I would classify it as a good time.

* BCV: I love the Beach Club! The hotel, cast members, the pool, and the location make it one of the best locations on Disney property. You can't beat the view of Epcot and Illuminations from the balcony either!

* Relaxing: We spent a huge amount of time relaxing and doing absolutely nothing at all..... :cloud9:

* The Kitchen Sink... For the second year in a row, we had my DH's family come up and share in this special treat with us. As usual, it was delicious and an added bonus? Our waiter was from Ohio and has worked in the city we live in! How cool is that? It really is a small world after all...(Sorry, I couldn't help myself. :rotfl:

* Epcot: I love, love, love this theme park! :cloud9: We had so many wonderful experiences here..... Walking in through the International Gateway in the morning, eating a cheese plate and fish and chips in the middle of the pouring rain, having my DD6 stay awake in the American Adventure and ask me about the people she saw, watching my chidlren's faces light up during Illuminations and scrunch up while smelling the Skunk on Figment. Walking around the park after it closed, watching the fountains, Spaceship Earth, crying as we left the park. Hey, we were going home the next day!

* Space Shuttle: Because we had family visiting us, we didn't go to Cape Canaveral. However, you could see the shuttle in the sky and I can truly say it was the coolest thing I haven't seen.;)

* Swimming.... We had a pool at the house and we had Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club. It was wonderful!:goodvibes

All in all, we had a great vacation.... There were a few un-highlights, but I'll save that for next time.

Have a great day!

Good morning, Tracy, my dear WISH buddy! I am so happy that you had a wonderful Christmas and I have loved hearing all the memories of your trip. Beach Club Villas is our home DVC resort and we love it there too. I am so glad your family enjoyed it. There really is nothing to compare with the fabulous location!
I know your family has had more than its share of struggles this year, but I wanted to thank you for being such a positive presence for all of us here. You are an amazing person, Tracy, and I count your friendship among my blessings.
I just wanted to wish you a happy, Blessed 2007!

H Tracy, it sounds like you had a wonderful time. I am not even attempting to do a trip report, I didn't take notes and other than my ADR's can't remember enough about what we did each day. As usual, the food is the thing I remember the most! Did you see the Candlelight Processional at Epcot? That was my highlight. I was extremely disappointed in MVMCP. We have done MNSSHP and it was much better, although I read reports this year it had also gone downhill. Why they kept MK open unitl the time the party started was beyond me. It was packed too, they clearly sell way more tickets to this even than they used to. We still had fun but not sure it was worth the $200. Oh well!

Good for you taking a walk. You are getting right back in the groove, good girl! Welcome Home, as sad as I am to be gone from WDW, I am happy to start anew and really hit this thing again and get some pounds off. We can do it Tracy! Happy New Year WISH Sis!!:santa: :woohoo:

Hi Tracy,

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip.

I'll keep your family in my prayers, hope 2007 brings good things your way.

I know how hard that is with DH job situation, my DH has had a horrible year on the workfront, but we just got great news about changes for him, so I pray that things go well for you too.

Happy New Year!

Hi tracy
loved your mini trip report :)
I always cry when we have to leave too!!
Have a super new year
Tracey x

I loved reading about your trip highlights. I have always wondered if the Kitchen Sink was as good as it sounded. I may have to give it a try! Good job on the long walk. You've had so much going on in your life! Have a wonderful New Year's and here's to a terrific 2007! :thumbsup2

hi Tracy-
Thanks for sharing the highlights of your trip--sounds like a great time! im sorry you have felt an emotional overload..I hope 2007 will bring great experiences for your family! Thank you for balways being there for me Tracy!

Tracy, thanks for the highlights of your trip. I really enjoyed reading them. I can't wait to spend some time at Stormalong Bay this March:) . I thought of you when the shuttle lifted off. I'm glad you got to see it. You have really accomplished so much this year in spite of all the many obstacles life has thrown you and your family. Please be proud of what you have accomplished. Here's to a Happy and Healthy 2007 and to a better year for your whole family.

Hi Tracy!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Thanks for sticking by me this past year. Lots going on for both of us!! I hope to be a better WISH buddy to you this year.

Happy New Year WISH buddies! Thank you for all of your support and encouragement over the past year. :grouphug: I hope and pray that 2007 is a wonderful, healthy year for everyone!:goodvibes

I would appreciate your good thoughts/prayers for a couple of things:

1. My DH's job situation.

2. My attitude.... My extended family keeps trying to schedule more and more family time together and I am extended familyed out.... My mom wants to have us over for dinner today and I just really don't want to go. I haven't had much downtime with my own family especially since my DH deejayed last night and was gone from mid-afternoon until 3:00 a.m. :( Also, a friend of mine left me out of something. Normally, it wouldn't bother me especially since she has been under a lot of stress lately. However, she included other people who have not been as supportive or there for her at all and left me out. I know it's petty, but the hurt feelings are still there. :(

Thanks WISH buddies!

My Resolutions for 2007:

* I want to lose 20-25 pounds before we leave for WDW in September.

* I want to build up our savings account.

* I want to pay off as much debt as possible.

* I want to become a better cook. I want to cook healthy, balanced meals for my family.

* I want to organize my time better.

I need to spend some time over the next week planning how I am going to accomplish these goals because I will need to start working on DH's tax stuff in the next couple of weeks and planning and organization would be a good thing. :goodvibes

Here's to a Wonderful 2007!:cool1:

Happy, Healthy New Year, Tracy (and girls & DH, too!)

Thanks for all the support you've been to me. You're definitely a ray of sunshine in my life!

I've added your family to my 'permanent' prayer list as I know you need some definite positives this year.

Enjoy your time today & don't stress over family times. Sometimes it's hard, but best to learn to say NO.

Tracy,
Hope you have a happy and healthy new year. I agree to the just say no... however I also believe that nothing is as important in the big skeem of things as family. After 27 years in the military we are now just starting to truely enjoy our extended family. So just say no - except when it has been to long. Always, Judy

The:laundy: will alway be there. Family won't.

Happy new year Tracy
You have great goals and i'm sure you can make them :)
you & your family are in my thoughts,
i can relate on the friend problem, i sometimes feel taken for granted by a particular friend, but i just tell myself true friends are there no matter what so thats what i do, otherwise i would feel like i had let myself down even more than letting them down!
Just read that back, does that make sense????

Good evening friends,

Sorry I probably won't get to journals today.... I left the tv off for most of the day and got a lot accomplished. The problem is that I think I am coming down with something because I feel yucky. I'm going to chill out and read and hopefully, get to bed early this evening.

I did manage to get a walk in today..... I know that I need to do more than this to take the weight off so I will try and come up with a plan this week. (Eat less; exercise more... There! Problem solved!:thumbsup2 :rotfl: )

Hope everyone is doing well.... I will try and get to journals tomorrow or Thursday.:goodvibes

Good morning WISH buddies,

Really not feeling well today either... It comes in waves.... Sometimes I feel okay and then other times, not so okay. I don't have much planned today so maybe some rest and relaxation will help.

I weighed myself this morning.... 208.8. Not bad, not great, just okay. If I want to make my goal, I will need to weigh 183-188 by September 16th. Hopefully, I can make that goal... I haven't been in Onederland for more than a week in the past 4 years. :(

Today's Plan:

* Homeschool

* Walk? (maybe some fresh air will help...)

* Relax

* Do some paperwork for DH.

Have a great Wednesday!:goodvibes

Hey Tracy. I'm sorry you don't feel well! Please get healthy before you worry about exercising. I'm in the same predicament right now. :sad2:

Take care and rest!!

Hey, Tracy! Hang in there & don't overdo when you're not feeling well. Rest up some when you can and you'll ultimately get back on track quicker.

Have a good Wednesday!

Good evening WISH buddies,

Well, I went to the doctor today and I have a sinus infection. I am on antibiotics, but I am in a lot of pain: headache, earache, pressure, jaws ache, e.t.c. :( I will be on the antibiotic for 10 days.

I did manage a 1.28 mile walk today.... The weather was nice, but my ear hurt really badly and I had to stop.

I would really appreciate your good thoughts/prayers for my DH. He is really doing a great job hanging in there with his third shift job, but he is still unhappy. :( When we were in Florida, he was so happy.... He came up with some wonderful ideas and was ready to take the world by storm. Came home to Ohio and you could see the discouragement set in day by day. Maybe God will lead us to Florida someday......:cloud9:

I'm going to hit a few journals and then head off to bed.....I hope these antibiotics kick in soon... Ouch!:headache:

Have a good evening!:goodvibes

edited to add..... I probably won't make it to journals after all... I'm really not feeling well. I'm sorry. :(

Sending you and dh lots of warm thoughts and prayers. :cheer2: I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when work isn't going well. I hope you feel better soon. Amazing job getting that walk in even when you didn't feel well. Take care you!:goodvibes
