Toys R Us and Lego question

During the on-line buy 2 get one free sale, I bought my boys the fire station and two other large sets. (One more expensive and one less - all within $10)

One DS wanted one of the other sets and I found one that I thought DH would like to build with the boys. DS2 never had a preference,...until now! Now he really wants a Kingdom Lego set. (He's not the kind of kid who wants something different everyday, he'll likely want this until he either gets it for the holiday, or saves his money - no matter how long it takes him.)

My question - We live two hours away from the nearest TRU, but I'll be close next week at a two day conference. Do you think I could bring the Firestation set and just exchange it for a Kingdom set? Should I bring my receipt? If so, will I get charged full price for all items?

[I did try to call and find out my answer, but got "just bring it in a we'll see what we can do".]

I can't speak much towards the return but I know at toysrus you must have a reciept. They don't do any returns or exchangrs without a reciept.

When toysrus does their buy 2 get 1 free the 3 items are not marked as 33% off, but rather 1 item has 'no value.' so if your forestation was the free item you will probably have to lay full price. But you may be ok if it was not the free item.
