I had this as a kid. It was a hand me down from my sister. I guess I can say I have owned a camper my whole life.

mikeymouse1, you ain't just kidd'n,,for the first half of my childhood all we had was "sticks and mud" to play with ! Boy that stick was many things tho, a boat, a space ship, a gun, etc. and the mud,well the mud was just fun to waller around in.
I remember the first real toy I ever had,,it was given to me, a toy CAR,,it had only had one wheel and looked like it had been inna bad wreck.
Boy those were the good old days

Now let me tell you about how I usta walk 10 miles up hill (both ways) to school in the blizzards , everyday !(and that was when we lived in Florida!)

I have the same camper and my mom still has it at her house. I also had the Barbie house that was made of the same vinyl and closed with a handle for carrying. She also has the original barbie carrying cases. My niece played with them when she was young.

psssst I had that as a kid too. Guess what my wife has at least 90% complete fisher price wooden people sets from the 70's Still. Including that camper set. Actually I beleive we have 2 of them. There is a cabinet beside my computer 3 ft wide 2 ft deep 6 ft tall full of it all. Plus a couple of plastic totes with more in it. She also has most of the sets from the late 90's to early 2000s. She has kept boxs and all. Also has some boxes from the 70's stuff too. Plus other fisher price toys. boxes and boxes of it.

The cars we played with were a little faster. We had 1/24 scale slot cars on about 100 feet of track with banked curves. WOW! Was that a blast!
In fact I have since gotten back into them but am doing 1/32 scale. They are very fast but also take some skill to run them.
I keep them in the motorhome now and will have the sets with us in June.

They give Mattel grief about Barbie these guys are something else! I don't remember them I only had Ken in my camper with Barbie! Well Ken did like Barbie!

They are still at my mom's, but younger cousins did a number on them and they are not in the condition they were when I had them.

I guess that does explain a lot and my obsession of getting to stay at the Ft!
