Toyring plan for one day at US?

So we have one full day at US and one full day at IOA. I have a good plan for IOA but US? Not so much.... I think Despicable should be our first ride. But do we then move on to RRR and Shrek or do we move back to Mummy or another ride? We will have express pass from our HRH room. And Transformers may be open (we will be there June 21)

Thoughts?

since you will be able to use the express lines, i wouldn't be that concerned on the order of rides.

on some past dates when i have been in the studios, a few rides have opened a bit later than opening time.
don't know if that is still happening.

We'll be there June 21 and plan on getting to the entrance about 45 minutes to rope drop (or US equivalant). On our Disney trips I usually get in line and the family joins me about 15-20 minutes before the gates open. Will the have a security table to go through?

since you are staying onsite, take advantage of the early entry perk for IOA.

only the parry hotter section will be open but for that first hour, it won't have the big crowds.

for the studios, i would hit the major rides such as RRR, Despicable me, mummy first.
using your express pass, your line waits will not be bad.


if you come to the parks by the water taxis, your bags will be checked before you get on the boats.

if you walk from the hotel to the parks, the security check for pbh and hrh will be at the end of the sidewalk before you hit the studios gates.

from rph, the check will be done on the pathway before you hit margaritaville.
