looking to buy and would love to hear others opinion. good or bad. thanks

We have a 2009 Corolla CE and have been really happy with it. Gets great gas mileage and ample trunk space for a car of its size. We easily fit luggage for our family of 4 for a 2 week trip to FL in the winter.

We have done recommended tuneups and have had to replace the brakes and tires, but other than that, it's been reliable as reliable can be. We bought an extended warranty, so we still have another 2 1/2 years of warranty on it, but if it keeps going the way it is now, we easily could have gotten away with out the warranty extension.

My only complaint about the car is that the stock tires were terrible. We use snow tires in the winter, and we still had to replace the all seasons after two years use. The difference with the new tires is noticeable.

My mom bought her 2010 Corolla brand new and has not had any trouble out of it. It gets great gas mileage and has been a great car so far. The only thing she's had to do is the routine maintenance (oil changes, brake pads, tires, etc.). That being said, she is definitely a stickler for keeping her vehicles maintained so I'm sure that helps!

I work for a driving school and we have always used Toyota Corollas for our Driver's Ed cars. Haven't heard the driving instructors complain......

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and have had no trouble with it. I actually traded in my 2009, because they had a great deal that would reduce my interest to 0%. I didn't have a problem with that one either.

OK AND THANKS ALL above. Now do I get the S or the LE or the ? what the heck, they look and feel the same, right?

DW drives a 2010 Corolla S which we bought brand new. She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the car. Very reliable and great gas mileage. We bought the S model because it just looks really sporty and fun.

I have the LE now. I liked the outside of the S, but the interior(at least for the 2009) was a slick black material that I didn't care for.

We bought an '09 Corolla LE in the summer of 2008 (we were trying to get an end-of-model-year one but no luck)...we have had no major problems so far. We did need to do some brakework, and I am hard on tires, but the car has over 50K now and is running great. I would buy another one down the road but I am hoping we will be able to go hybrid the next time around (we don't anticipate needing to get another car for years yet though...our other car is a Mazda 5, what I call a mini mini-van, and we bought that one in 2009). :thumbsup2
