Looking for any and all comments on Pizza Planet...DS is a big Toy Story fan - is it decorated great inside or is it not worth the time? Food decent?

We are BIG Toy Story fans as well. I thought it was well decorated w/ all things Toy Story. It is a lot like the one from the movie inside...the food is good...it is not overwhelmingly amazing, but it is indeed good nad worhteh $ you pay...

do a search on google and you can see lots of pics...

I was pleasantly surprised how good the pizza is here. You know how many pizza sauces are so spicy you can't really taste the pizza? The sauce is nice and mild with lots of flavor but NOT spicy. I've had the vegetarian pizza and the pepperoni. Both were really good!

The decor is really cute.

pizzas are really nice! We've not been for couple of years, as chose other places, but its worth the trip x

I don't think it's themed inside at all. There's a big games arcade in there though.

Does anyone know if you can use the arcade game card included in the Magic Your Way package at the arcade games in Pizza Planet?

I don't think the theming was amazing or anything, but definitely good for a kids that likes Toy Story.

The food was pretty good -- nothing fabulous, but good for theme park food in my opinion. We have eaten there every trip for four trips now!

There are not a lot of good choices in MGM for counter service food, and this is our favorite there (along with the bakery).

It is decorated very cute and we think the food is great for the price (or dining credit)! We have went twice both trips to WDW and fully intend to go again this upcoming trip! :thumbsup2

We have two boys and we were disappointed. The inside is basically a big arcade. The food was mediocre at best.

We have three boys - they all love Toy Story - they all want to go to Pizza Planet every time. And that's what we've done. When our pre-schooler sees it, he lights up and he loves everything from the big Buzz on the roof to the arcade games (even as he "plays" them without quarters.) T

But I agree with previous posters - the theming is just OK, and the food is not great. (Although I think I'll skip the pizza next time and try the caprese salad.)

I like the pizza and salad combo! The inside is cute, but I think they really need one of those big spaceship claw machines!!!

Sorry, no...the arcade card only works at your resort arcade.

Thanks Cat...you're a keeper! I suspect the boys I'm traveling with can find a way to spend those cards at the resort and still find time to plug quarters into Pizza Planet's machines.

This is our favorite place for pizza in WDW, and we usually eat here once during the trip. It's not decorated like the one in the movie, but it does have :worship: "the claw."

we used to love pizza planet! i always loved the pizza. we ate there in i think october and again in april this year. i wasn't happy with the pizza at all. there is so much sauce on them the crust is soggy. i found it to be no diferent than any of the other pizzas offered on site at any of the parks. but that being said my kids enjoyed eating there!

also an fyi for anyone who may have a sensitive tummy(i suffer from ulcerative colitis), all the buns and crusts now are multigrain. while i don't mind eating this, in two days im in horrible pain from it.

That's how I felt about it.

I was unimpressed with my meal. DD on the other hand loved hers but I think this is mainly because they were able to do a gluten free pizza for her, which is a treat. It was actually pretty good, but wouldn't be fair to credit the regular menu with a dietary special though.

I would go again for my daughter's sake if she wanted to, but that would be a meal where I would grab my food elsewhere .... like Starring Rolls for example ;)

If you are expecting an arcade like in the film, you will be really disappointed. There is an arcade, but I don't think it feels anything remotely like what is depicted in Toy Story. That being said, our food was good. It wasn't anything to rave about, but the customer service I received was. I am lactose intolerant and they made me a pizza with a rice based crust and offered to put soy cheese on top. I opted not to have the soy cheese. It was about ten bucks for a personal pizza, but ten bucks was definitely worth feeling well for the remainder of the night. :thumbsup2

Just to clarify, the pizza here is exactly the same as every other CS pizza on property. There is no difference.
