Toy Story Pizza Planet in MGM

I had avoided Pizza Planet for years because I'd read so many bad reviews. I finally gave it a try in December, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The pizza was not bad at all, much better than I expected from counter service.

We have eaten there several times! :cheer2: One thing my family can agree on is pizza! :cheer2: I would reccomend it! We always go back! :rotfl:

It was way way way better than the resort delivery pizza. The kids all had a great time.

They must have improved it since 10/04 - then it was exactly like the pizza at the resort... bland, what tasted like "fake" cheese... just pure yuck!!! We'll try it again over Easter break!

Prior to reading posts on this thread, I've read mostly negative reviews on Pizza Planet. Have been there before, but steered clear from the pizza, now maybe I'll give it a go. We had lots of CS left over last trip, so why not :confused3

DH and I ate there several years ago. It is so far the only place at WDW that he won't go back too. And we LOVE pizza! There was so much cornmeal on the bottom of the pizza that it tasted like cardboard. We tried to feed our leftovers to the birds and even they wouldn't eat them.

I always say judge for yourself, but this is one place we won't be going to again.

We are not picky eaters and I almost never post anything negative, but....Pizza Planet has the worst pizza we have ever had!!!! - not just at WDW, but anywhere! My DW loves pizza, and in our almost 20 years together I had never seen her unhappy with pizza of any sort (from frozen pizza to homemade and everything in between) until Pizza Planet. That said, the interior arcade and the exterior character "display" is worth anyone's time to visit and to take pictures of - especially if you are a Toy Story fan.

For better pizza try Mama Melrose's - a sit down meal, but much, much better!

It is a fun place to go. I felt like I was in the movie because, like Disney does everything, the themeing was great! :thumbsup2

Oh, and the food was great, too :goodvibes

That is funny, because that is the thing that disappointed me most. Instead of having an actual claw game, they have a big mock up. There were a few other things like that where I felt they had just taken a cheap route, rather than really caring about it.

When we talk about our AWESOME trip this past September to WDW, the only negative we can come up with is...PIZZA PLANET! Seriously, the pizza was awful. Worse than frozen. I've eaten a lot of bad pizza in my life, but this was just garbage. Even my 7 year old son hated it and he CHOSE the place (it was his birthday). When we go back, we'll just play the games. The Mickey Krispie was good, though!

We ate there last May, and, while it wasn't our favorite place, for counter-service,, we thought it was fine. We got pizzas, salads, & rice krispie treats - all were okay. It was crowded, but the lines moved quickly. We plan to eat there again this June.

I just wish the outside of the restaurant looked more like the restaurant in the movie.
