Toy Story Midway Mania Refurb?

Just got notified in My Disney Experience that my FP for Toy Story Midway Mania on March 15th has been cancelled and they changed it to Rock n Roller Coaster. Is there a new refurb being done that is shutting down Toy Story?

Mine too!!! My fastpass for the 12th so far has been okay. Anyone else?

At first thought, I was thinking that the park was closing early, but that is not the case, as my Rock n Roller Coaster fastpass is in the evening.

It's closing just for March 15th and it's related to the third track, Disney is now saying that the third track will open in SUmmer

I guess I picked the wrong day to go to Hollywood Studies, and stuck now that I can't move the Fantasmic Dining Reservations to a different day.

Where have they said summer? Everything I have seen says just 2016. But according to what I've heard it should be any time now for it to be ready.

I guess I'm not alone - my TSMM fast pass for 3/15 just got canceled, too. This is the second FP I've lost on this trip - Kali River Rapids was canceled on me, too. I'm starting to get annoyed - the cancellations on top of the limitations on my Gold AP feel like they're piling on. While I realize work has to be done, the timing - during Spring Break season - is awful.

The HUB, that's the answer they will give for people asking. It could be done before that. Each time I walk through there I peek inside thru the crack on the doors and there's still some construction to be done

My FP+ for the 16th is still safe.. but I am worried if it runs over and we miss out on TSMM. Although, a FP+ for RNRC would be okay. We are planning that for rope drop, before our FP+ for TSMM.

Vehicles have been on site since January, and the queue has had walls in it since late December. I truly believe it will be done before summer, there were rumors it would be early 2016 which is still possible but I'm going to go within another month or two.

Disney just announced they will be shutting down TSMM on March 15th in order to complete and attach the the third track. Reopening scheduled for the summer.

So, 50% of people will be angry because how dare Disney shut down another attraction at HS...we should be able to get in free now. And the other 50% will be thrilled because a long-awaited improvement for one of the most popular attractions on site will finally be able to handle 33% more guests causing shorter lines and more fast pass availability. Something tells me we'll hear more from the former...

The story I saw said it is closing for just that one day.

The opening of the third track is scheduled for summer.

And actually, opening a third track will allow the ride to handle 50% more guests.
