Toy Story Mania - Wii

There are 8 poppers around the planer, you need to pop 12. The other 4 appear down below the rockets (I believe) after all of the rockets have been launched at least once. There will be 2 on each side of the screen. That one took me a while as well!

Thanks! I always saw them on the bottom but I didn't think they were part of the same type.

Just heard about a new Toy Story Ray Gun accessory being made for this game:

Here's the article about it:

But, before you get too excited about this, keep in mind, that right now it's only in Europe. I imagine that this gun will eventually make it's way to the States, but we'll have to wait and see

We just got this game today and my husband and I have already spent a lot of time playing. We love it! We can't wait to ride the ride this time next week! :yay::cool1:

can someone explain to me what happens after you quit?! we wanted to go to bed and play again later and too soon realized that all our progress is gone. we don't even know how to earn tickets and/or get back ones we may have earned and don't even know it. we were playing in story mode and making sure to get all of the objectives before going on. is this meaning i have to do that all over?!

We played some today, and the thing that frustrates me is trying to figure out how to meet some of the "objectives" that you need to unlock the games so you can play without going through the whole "story" thing.

If anyone can figure out (1) how to launch 4 rockets at once in the rocket game,

To launch the four rockets at once, first, launch 4 on the same side separately. Then, a gray pole will pop up and you'll be told to spin the wiimote. Spin it enough and a UFO will spin up the pole to the top. Ring the UFO to set off all four rockets again, simultaneously.

To get all 12 planet poppers, ring the 8 that are in orbit around the planet, and the 4 that are at the bottom of the screen (above the UFO guys, below the rockets)

I haven't picked this up yet because I want it as a family Christmas gift and I know if I buy it now we will open it.

Yup only gamestop has the bonus faceplates. Thats where I bought mine I cant wait till Christmas to play it :goodvibes

Oh and thanks to the poster how reminded me about the Wiis memory :sad2:
:lmao:

We got the bonus faceplate at Target, but reserved the game weeks ago. You had to buy their $1 reservation card to get it.

Still having trouble with the bees....I don't know if I can shake any harder...Anyone??????

I agree on some of the objectives - we had a very hard time figuring out the launching four rockets. we eventually got it - it may have something to do with waving the remote around when those arrows pop up.

we never did find a big flower to shake all of the bees out of, but i also think it has something to do with waving the remote around (because of the word SHAKE in the objective). we just racked up some tickets and then bought/unlocked the game that way.

and i agree with the other poster that was disappointed in the 3-D aspect. it was so bad, that it took us about five seconds to take our glasses off and say "This sucks".

but the game is completely awesome even without the 3d!!

I don't think you can do it until halfway through... pop all the flowers fast enough so they all (six of them I think) are off the board at the same time, before the first one re-inflates. Then a big flower will pop up in the middle, just keep spinning the wiimote in a circle, it'll take a while but one petal at a time will fold down, once the last one goes down the bees pop out.

The games are fun (some ridiculously easy) but I have to vote with those who say they're VERY DISAPPOINTED at the 3D.

If I were the product manager, I'd pull this game and just take the 3D off of it -- it's so badly done, I think the bad will generated would ruin any future titles' release chances.

I find if I hold the remote less tight and losely shake it, I can get the flower to open. I'm still shaking it really well but less of a grip.:surfweb:

We bought the game over the weekend and love it. The kids are having a blast with it and keep thanking us for buying it. Wow that there is a gift in itself.

I have this same question as well.

Finally opened it...

It's a great game. Kids love it.

I am a little dissapointed (as others have mentioned) that when you quit... although it saves your points, and unlockables, it does not seem to save your position in story mode. Has anyone figured this out yet...?

Or else I will be playing TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

I purchased this for wii for xmas. Can't wait to use it. We love the ride at HS.

Same here.. in fact, we didn't even own a Wii console, so Santa will be bringing the new Wii system plus TSM.. hopefully we will have some fun with it, we're not serious gamers.

Mary :santa:
