I bought Toy Story Mania for Wii on Day 1 (last Thursday, 9/10) at the D23 Expo! I freaked out when I saw it in someone's shopping basket in the Dream Store. The D23 version even came with a $5 Disney Store gift card off the retail price.

This game is WONDERFUL, and I would have paid full price knowing what I know now about its game play. It reminds me of the Toy Story movies and the attraction in the parks... This is a perfect Wii game, since I am in Chicago, and I can't visit WDW all the time to sharpen my skills.

Toy Story Mania for Wii was sold every day at the D23 Expo, and it should be out in regular stores this week. You won't regret it, it's a great, smart game!

My plan for the day was to run to the Disney store and pick this up (I'm using the AP pass-along gift cards we got last month to pay for it), run home and play all day. Big hitch in my plan -- my DS 13 is home with an injured back today and the rule is no video games or computer while you're home sick! I guess I could bring the WII upstairs to my room, but that kind of seems like cheating... so I'm home itching to open it, and have to wait until after dinner (got stuff to do at the high school earlier). I'm glad to hear the positive reviews here, though!

Ran out to Wal-Mart on my lunch just an hour ago and picked it up. It looks fun. Can't wait to try it at home with DH & DD tonight. We have to turn it off when Hell's Kitchen comes on though! I don't quite think I will get away with that. Good thing DVR is set

My DD(4) and I have been playing it most of the evening. I was afraid that it would be too hard for her but she is able to do a lot and she loves it. I'm waiting for the girls to go to bed so I can play around by myself for a little while . My DH was jealous that he had to work tonigh- I think he's more excited than DD. I'll have to get him to play for a while after he gets home to unlock the 3D portion.

My son and I have been playing for an hour or so. I was so excited to see the two amazon boxes on the porch when I got home from work. TSM and The Lost Symbol on the same day. It's almost like Christmas in September .

That is a good deal. I also was able to get a good deal. I pre ordered it on the disneystore.com website and got $5 off the price and a $5 gift card.

I can't wait to play it. I just have to convince dh to let us play it before Christmas. (As in hopefully tonight!!!! )

We love it!!! It was fun and even easy for DD who doesn't play the Wii much at all.Heck none of us do..but I think we will now!

my husband is picking ours up when he gets out of work in an hour... and by the time he gets home and we have dinner and I watch biggest loser AND big brother... it will be bed time... I have been dying to play it all day!!! I will have to wait until tomorrow though since I am sick and have to teach tomorrow so I need to get to bed at a decent hour... boo to responsibilities lol

We played some today, and the thing that frustrates me is trying to figure out how to meet some of the "objectives" that you need to unlock the games so you can play without going through the whole "story" thing.

If anyone can figure out (1) how to launch 4 rockets at once in the rocket game, (2) shake out the bees in the balloon popping game, or (3) find (much less shoot) the pigs in the Hamm and Eggs game, please let me know. That's as far as we've gotten so far. There must be some tricks or cheats in play here.

I really like the shooting gallery games that are similar to the ones on the ride, but some of the others are pretty silly and simple. That's why I'd like to be able to get the gallery games unlocked to the free play mode. So far, we've only been able to get the "Rootin' Tootin'" game unlocked. For the others there's one objective we can't get.

Well, we did get the pigs out by knocking down all of the targets on the scarecrow. And, getting four rockets to launch at the same time seems to take nonstop shooting and a little luck. I guess we'll just have to keep playing. Boy, this is addictive, and fun.

My kids have been playing it for hours. My husband has it now.I am about to go kick his butt of it as we speak. Not all levels are 3d. You do have to unlock the 3d effects. Looks really cute though. Now... to go kick someone off!
