Toy Story Mania - Wii

Not yet. I pre ordered mine and it should get delivered today. It's suppose to be a Christmas present for the kids, but dh and I were thinking of trying it out (just to make sure it works and all. ;) ) once the kids are in bed.

I'm picking mine up today. I'll report back later, although I haven't been on the ride yet. I'll get my chance next month.

I pre-ordered it. Can't wait to play with the 3D glasses. To bad it doesn't squirt air and water at you like the ride!! I hope it will increase my skills to I can kick reclaim my winning streak I had over DH.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2Haven't rode TSMM yet ( will hit it in DEC) but the game looks just like it from the videos and such I have seen. This game is addicting, my kids love it and so do we...

DS has been waiting for it to hit the stores so he can use his saved birthday money to buy it! I am excited to try it out too!

Mine is scheduled for delivery Thursday.....can't wait to try it out. Love the ride....DH's favorite.
We leave for WDW Sunday, so he can get some practicing in :rotfl:

I played it a little at D23, nothing in 3D though. they were actually selling it there for the entire expo.

it's pretty neat, lots of new games. a couple of bugs it seemed, but nothing i couldn't deal with. control was really simple. other than occasional gestures for bonus points, it's really just pressing the A button repetitively. it doesn't even consider accuracy.

the only issue I really has was being distracted by the projectiles. I kept forgetting to watch my own crosshairs to see where I was shooting.

Where have been hiding? Didn't even know about it!

I just ordered it from Toys R Us. Hopefully I can keep it from my DH so that I can practice without his knowing and finally beat him when we ride it next!!

I am buying this for my son and his family - they loved the game at Disney -- anyway he asked if I was going to get everything it needed and I said yes not knowing what else might be needed...so my question is aside from the game are there any controls I need to buy to make it easier to play or more like the Disney game?

I am going to put a small spray bottle of water in with the gift so whoever isn't playing can occasionally squirt them with water to make it a little more realistic. LOL.

no, it uses the normal wii control. at the expo, they had it skinned for TSM. really cute:

the only other accessory would be the 3d glasses, but it comes with those

I had no idea this game was coming out tomorrow-thanks for the heads up! Our kids will love this, the ride is so much fun. I think the 3D glasses will make it extra cool!

For my kids TSM is a "must do" ride, so this will be in their stockings this year for Christmas. It might even have to be used by me beforehand, just to make sure it is appropriate for them ;):woohoo:

O.k., I played it. It was fun. Definately a kid friendly family game. I played the story mode and it unlocked the free mode which I didn't play yet.
It would probably be more fun with more players. Good eye hand coordination games for kids.
It comes with two pair of cardboard 3D glasses. I think you have to get to that game by unlocking it. It also has two sticky face plates to decorate your remotes. I'll probably stick them under the see thru sleeves I have for my remotes without taking the sticky back off.
Got to play my Scribblenauts for my DS now. I got both games today!(not a Disney game, but a new creative game.)

I bought it this am at WMart for DD!! And she is at school .. I thought about going and taking her out just to open the game and play it with her..Wonder if I would win Mother of the Year for that ? :)
Only an hour before school gets out..I can't WAIT !!

We picked it up first thing this morning and have been playing it all day. Cant wait til the kids get home to see it but then DH and I would have to take turns-lol. Its really cute though.

So, the whole game isn't 3D? Just one unlockable part?
