I was wondering what other peoples experiences have been lately on TSM?
Particularly in the scooter section. Ie, the non-steps line.

wondering if they were loading people in regular cars, or just the cars that can load a chair? We were at disney a few weeks ago. We went thru the lne right before closing. They just brought over 2 regular cars and loaded up both sides, so making the line move more quickly.

When we rode last year. they only seemed to be loading the cars that could have a wheelchair load, and hence only 2 riders at a time, even if the riders could transfer.

I'm just wondering for furture trips. The first trip, after the regular line, it was a substantial wait in the non-step section, so it was frustrating. This time the non-step section moved fast. I'm hoping for the second, but won't hold my breath, it seemed they were trying to get everyone on and off quickly since it was the end of the nigt.

Thanks.

We were there yesterday. They were loading both "regular cars" and the Wheelcair car from the non step side.

We were there last week and they were loading both. If you could transfer, you went in a "regular" vehicle. If not, you were loaded in your wheelchair.

I am glad to hear this! When we went in October we used fastpass, it was an extremely long wait for the wc car.

IIRC there are two vehicles designated for wheelies. Both have one seat that can be removed for wheelchairs or kept in place for walkies. It's a combined two-car setup so you have max 2 seats in car one and 4 seats in car two.

They were using just the one vehicle combo in NYE but had both vehicles operating last Monday. Line moved fairly fast.

The only delay you get is the time to switch the car over for wheelies or walkies. I wonder why they didn't just leave one wheelie-friendly and save load time. They said they get too many walkies requesting it.

Bummer since it takes longer to load and unlike Buzz (which has a shorter load time for the wheelie car) they won't let you go round twice. Too much demand and not the greatest people management system IMHO.
