We are going in early December and I know the line for this ride is usually pretty long. Should I just plan to get there when the park opens or do the lines ease up a bit at night during extra magic hour nights?

If you've never ridden and don't want to miss this ride I would get there at rope drop, get in line early and ride. Then get a fast pass when you come out which will probably be for afternoon by that time. Fast passes are usually gone by 11am and the lines for this popular ride stay long all day.

We were there in mid June and was at the studios on 3 different days. Our 1st day we got there about 30 min after park opening and we went right to it and it was a 20 min wait. When we came out it was up to 40 min and we got back in line and it was only a 30 min wait. They do a good job moving this line. Later in the day I guess around 3p, the wait time was 70 min. We came back a couple hours later and it was 90. We did see 120 min at one point. The next time we got to the park it was about mid day and it was bouncing between 40 min and 60 min. We got in line and waited around 55 minutes or so. My suggestion is the earlier the better and grap the fast pass early also. Those I watched around mid day noonish or so be available for 6p to 7pm...so if your planning on leaving the park mid to late afternoon, make sure to get the fast pass early in the morning. also watch the wait time board up front. When you see the time dip under 60 min, go get in line! Love the line wait time boards!!

I bought this game for the Wii, not the same thing :( but still fun.

GREAT RIDE!! :thumbsup2

I believe on Sunday Dec 6th they have extra magic hours 8-11pm. Do you think the lines will still be long during this time? I have never been at the Studios during the evening extra magic hours.

Every time I have been during evening late hours the lines have been in the 50-70 minute range.

Most recently a few days ago my daughter and husband were there and I think they said the wait was 50 minutes when they went on during evening hours. It eases up closer to the end of extra magic hours.

The evening EMHs will have just as long lines as during the day (worst I've seen is 120). Anything over a 30 minute wait is WAAAAAYYYY too long to wait for any ride IMO. Better to go to the park early (even if you just go to get FPs) and come back later to ride. Past two trips, FPs have all been gone by noon for the day. And this ride has now been open for 1 1/2 years! :scared1:

I agree with this! We were just there, and this was the best way to do it if you're staying all day. EMH still had very long lines. You're much better off getting there early to ride and getting a fastpass for later in the day.

That is the day on my schedule to be there. I usually avoid EMH parks but this trip it just kind of worked out that way.

Lines will be long so I strongly suggest the 'get there early, ride then get a fast pass plan.':thumbsup2

I was just there this weekend (though not for EMH). We got to the park before rope drop, but were really at the back of the crowd. We got in line right away for it and waited maybe 30 minutes. Then we got our fast passes. Later in the day, after we used our passes, the line said 70 minutes and we decided to wait anyway. We ended up being off the ride in about 35, so it was only about 1/2 what was posted. It's totally a craps shoot - I know someone who got in line when it said 70 and it ended up being 90.

We were just there last weekend and the fast passes were gone by 12. I would go first thing and get fast passes and see what the wait times are. The wait times when we were there were 70 to 120. We used the fast pass. Very cute ride.
