toy story mania for the wii

it is so much fun! i love it.

if you buy it from gamestop, you get two toy story wii mote faceplates. which i thought was pretty cool.

there is a lot of target shooting. its also got ring toss (same as target shooting tough) and then balloon pop (throwing darts at balloons, but its a lot like target shooting) and then there is some things that just utilize the wiimote, like you have to shake it, and move it like a lasso (its a game with woody and hamm)

its a lot like the ride, but obviously they had to add a little bit more, to stretch it out.

on the podcast DIS unplugged (which is by the people tht run this site) they gave a review about this game and the guy sayed tht (obviously) the real one is more fun and tht this wii game is very repetitive and tht you have to unlock stuff and he sayed tht its not woth it...ill find which episode it was

1) the real one lasts what? five minutes? and you have to go to florida to play it.

2) you don't have to unlock anything.

3) its not repetitive at all, it changes up the way you shoot, the targets, and it even has lots of games that aren't shooting.

I'm just writing what the guy from the podcast sayed, I myself have not played it.

I got mine two days ago.

I have enjoyed playing it.

I disagree with most of Kevin's review, on the podcast.

He had a lot of trouble with the interface. It is different, but after spending a few minutes thinking about it and playing with it, it makes perfect sense (at least for the most part). It does take a little bit of exploration to find things.

Once the games are unlocked, you can then play them in any order you want. To unlock them you either have to meet certain criteria when you play it, or else you can unlock it by spending tickets that you win just by playing. So if there is a particular game that is too hard, you can still easily unlock it and play it whenever.

There are a number of different preset game sequences. The first is sort of a sampling, starting with the target practice with Buzz and Woody. But there is one that is just Green Army Men games, one that is just Bo Peep games, one that is just Buzz Space games, etc.

I enjoyed it quite a bit.
