Toy Story Land

ElaborAte please Ryan. What does two launches mean?
A launch like Rockin Rollercoaster has at the start. This coaster obviously isn't as fast as RnRc is but it will have two launches instead of a lift hill like a lot of other coasters have.

Hi Ryan.....please forgive me, but I still don't get it....two launches meaning two different roller coaster tracks? Also do you think coaster will have the same ease as Seven Dwarfs and be enjoyed by people in their 50's? I can handle big thunder and Seven Dwarfs, love them both, but not RocknRoller or Space. There should be an Official Toy Story Land thread by now. The pictures of that sneak peak looks sooooo good, so realistical toys. Getting excited and looking forward to seeing this new whimiscal land.

It will still be on one track but with launches in different spots. One will most likely be at the start of the ride and another somewhere else. I don’t see this ride being super intense based on its theme. I feel like it’ll need to appeal somewhat to younger kids so I could see it being like 7dmt. I could easily be proven wrong though.

I assume he means that since it doesn't have big hills or loops, a second launch is required somewhere along the track to get the car all the way around. (Like Crush n Gusher has multiple jets.) Remember it's all conservation of momentum--why it's called a coaster.

Correct.

Only one track. Mine train has a lift hill. This does not. It will still be a fun family ride but it should be good for all ages.

A Toy Story Land thread will be started when we know an opening date. Likely early next year.

I think California Screamin' does this, though I could be remembering something else (I'm not 100% sure but I think it's Screamin'). There is an initial launch from horizontal, then at one point later there is a powered hill climb to launch the train to the top of the next section. It's easy to do with the LIM launch technology.

Honestly, this picture makes me a bit sad that we're going before it opens. Looks really fun!
