Toy Story Land rope drop strategy help

I am going to HS in mid-September and are rope dropping it to TSL. I already have a FP for Slinky Dog for later in the day, so I am not going to worry about the crowd rushing over to that ride. I want to ride both Midway Mania and Alien Saucers, but which one should I head to first? We will be doing one right after the other no matter what but does it really matter which one to go to 1st? Or are they both going to be about equally crowded?

I've wondered the same thing. As of 9:30 this morning, the wait for Alien Saucers is 35 minutes and Toy Story Mania is 30 minutes. This is consistent with the two or three other mornings that I have checked.

So it doesn't look like it matters much which one you save for second.

I would do Alien Saucers first. It sounds like it is a slow load ride. Toy Story Mania with the extra track will probably stay 30 minutes longer than Alien Sauciers...

Do Aliens first. We got to HS at 7am for the 7am EMH, and everyone was already in the land. We just missed the first bus to HS and it's a longer walk to the entrance now so get down to the bus early!

We headed back, looked around. *** and TSM were only 5 min waits and SDD was 30 minutes. We did TSM, but then the ride "paused" for a good 5-10 minutes. By the time we got off SDD was only 20 - so we got in line for that. After we got off SDD, the alien line was 10 min, but we really wanted to get RNRC in before the crowds so we did. We never did ride ***, but it wasn't high priority.

We rope dropped last week, got a bus at 6:30 from WL and were at HS after they started letting people in. We were still able to get on all 3 attractions within an hour. We did SD, then Alien Saucers, the TSM. I don't see the order you do them making a huge difference.

If you go right at rope drop, you would probably be able to do both as walkons. We went last week and were able to do both twice.
