a couple months ago there were rumors of a Toy Story Character Breakfast possibly opening at MGM...was that a Bogus rumor...I hope not...what a great addition that would be to the Character Breakfast lineup.

Can't say whether the rumor was "bogus" or not but I can say that there have been rumor's of a Toy Story Breakfast for about 2 years and I have seen no signs that prove it true.

Is there a way to contact Disney's public relations dept. (like some sort of suggestion box) to let them know we would LOVE a Toy Story character meal? Buzz is my DD's hero and that would make her trip so much more magical for her. Do they pay any attention to guests' suggestions?

But I see no way for this to be practical. If you have ever seen these characters at the parks they are really awkward, big, top heavy and looks to have poor sightlines. They also have a lot of trouble signing autographs and actually had stamps for this when we saw them. It just seems that it would be a logistical nightmare to do. And we are HUGE Toy Story and Buzz fans here.

I recall that one of the CM's here on the boards had posted that a Toy Story meal would be pretty much impossible due to costuming. So I don't think this is coming even if tons of people would love it . I know my family would be there in an instant!

While it may not be possible for the characters (except may the green army men) to go to the tables, it is possible to set it up where the characters are in the lobby/enterance area of the restaurant. They do this at one of the of the places at the Grand Californian (Disneyland resort), with Chip and Dale.

having 4 characters in the lobby would defeat the point of a character meal. It would become a regular meet and greet then. Most meals have 1 (some even 2) characters in the lobby, with the rest doing rotations in the restaurant. To have 4 in the lobby and 1 or 2 in rotation would be pointless.

I didn't say it would be practical, just said it isn't impossible. :D
