WIll be doing just one MK day in February with my nephews who love Toy Story...We will obviously meet Buzz and do Space ranger spin. I had them all excited about dancing with Woody and Jessie during the street party (we were there last year and saw kids doing this)...but I JUST now realized that the new dance party does not include them …uggghhh!! Are there any other opportunities to see or interact with Toy story Characters or themes at MK? PLEASE tell me they are still in the Festival of Fantasy parade?!
Also- could anyone tell me what the wait times are like to meet Buzz? It looks like he typically comes out around 11...if we get in line at 10:45 to meet him will that be ok or should we get in line sooner?
Thanks and Happy New Year!
**ETA: I know TSL is at HS but we only have one day for the parks and we decided to do MK (not interested in park hopping). Just want to make sure we see/do any and all TS stuff available at MK. Thanks!

Don't forget to take them to HS for Toy Story land!!

Well, the problem is, we only have one day...and they've never been to Disney before so we decided to do MK...so I am just trying to maximize any Toy Story stuff at MK

Unfortunately outside of maybe some of the Halloween/Christmas events I think Space Ranger Spin is about it in MK. Most of Toy Story moved when they opened the land at DHS

Buzz Lightyear still has a meet and greet around the corner from Space Ranger Spin.-If you are there about 15 minutes before his set is scheduled to begin the line isn't long-it's sort of out of the way.

Perfect- thank you!

I don't remember ever seeing Toy Story in Festival of Fantasy, but maybe I'm remembering wrong.
You're thinking of the "Move It! Shake It!" parade. There was an opportunity to dance with Jessie, Woody, etc at that parade. I'm not sure if the newer version of that parade has Toy Story characters. I don't believe so, but ......????

It doesn't. Only toy story left in the park it's space ranger spin and buzz meet and greet

My son would love to meet Buzz -- we're heading out next week for the first time. Do you get a schedule at the beginning of the day with all the times for these random meet and greets? Or do you have to know when/where they will occur? I'll have to come on here and make a list if so!

I remember that Jessie used to meet by the train station between Splash Mtn and BTMR, but that was back in Dec 2017 so not sure if that is still good info.

You have a couple of options. One is to look in the app. Filter for “Characters” like below and look around the map. Clicking on the icon will tell you the character and additional information.

You can also pick up the weekly Times Guide at the front of each park, and also here’s a handy link to see what kind of info they include: http://www.orlandoparksnews.com/p/weekly-walt-disney-world-times-guides.html

Pick up a map and times guide when you enter the parks, it will tell you when and where the characters meet.

If you have time the day before or after, you can go over to the All Star Movies resort and see the HUGE statues and stuff.

Um, this was the first I learned that there was a filter there on the app, lol. I wondered why they only showed attraction times and nothing else!! Oh man. More things to learn in one week, lol.

That’s actually a good idea, believe it or not there’s some pretty cool stuff to look at over there for Toy Story fans. Toy Story Land in HS is Andy’s backyard, ASMo is “in” Andy’s bedroom, they actually play into each other a little.
