Toy Story 3

The last movie I saw at the drive-in was "Night of the Living Dead". It was either at one of the theaters ConcK posted, or it was at one that is out of business now! I went to high school in Largo, so I ran around the Largo/Seminole area in the late 80's.

I loved Toy Story 3 ... saw it 2 times last week !!!!!!!!
I really, really loved the short film before the movie !!!!!!!!
I loved "Up" too (yes, it made me cry too)

I have said for YEARS....Disney needs to build a drive in theater, showing first run Disney movies! Park some vintage cars up front for those who use DME.....It would cost nothing to build!

When I think of what my high school BF and I used to do in my car at drive-in movies, I'm not sure that Disney would want to encourage such behavior.

:lmao:

I loved the movie. Mike and I were bawling at the end, along with the older woman next to me who kept gasping and saying "oh no," it was actually quite cute.

Sounds like G and I. Except it was a dad with his daughter next to us.

I would say it's more moving than sad.

Moving is a better description. It was cathartic.

We saw it in IMAX and will be seeing it 'normal' later this week or next. We forgot to use the free vouchers from buying the TS1 & TS2 BluRays...que sera, sera.

I will admit I went home and got my Papa Bear out of the closet and gave him a big hug, told him I missed him, and then put him back. (If he came to bed, the pups would have thought he was their toy and shredded him in 3.2 seconds. They may be miniature and cute, but they are firecrackers.)

I'm jealous. The closest drive in to our area is about 175 miles away. I would love to experience that again. The last time I was at a drive-in, I saw one of the Batman movies.

Saw it in IMAX 3d this weekend... and while the end was sentimental, the scene when they were "holding hands" really broke me up, it is right now thinking about it. It was just so intense and I thought if this is it... the kids in this theater are going to be scarred for LIFE!
Each movie was better than the one before it.
I have heard the God Father movies get better with each one but I haven't seen those.

We just saw it yesterday at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. OMG! I cried so much! I had read this thread just before we left, so I knew to keep my napkins on hand. Each movie did get better and better. I like it too that they kept it open for more sequels if they wanted. There is certainly a lot of directions that they could go and lots of story lines that could be developed. Now I want to see it again!

Just saw it.
Really LOVED it. :lovestruc

Pixar is so smart :cloud9:

saw it yesterday . . .by far one of the best movies (animated or otherwise) of the last five years.

So many emotions . . . just GREAT!

It was a wild ride.
I like those. ;)

You forget you're watching CGI

I saw it last week, loved it. I'll have to buy it when it comes out.

Especially since the version I watched, all the signage and whatnot in the movie was in Russian ;)

... And I did NOT cry.
:sad2:
Frign' contacts I tell you!

The pollen count was very high the day I saw it! ;)

If my emotionless friend hadn't been sitting next to me in the theater, I would've let the waterworks flow freely.
