Has anyone seen it yet? How is it?
What glasses do you use for the movie? The black plastic ones or the paper ones with the blue and red film lenses?
We stopped to see the times of the movie today and there was a sign that said 3D gone green and it had a little recycling symbol but then it looked like it was advertising paper glasses, I would think that paper glasses for everyone as opposed to reusable plastic ones is a little ungreen?! lol

We went to see it last night. They had the reusable black plastic glasses. It was really neat. Can't wait for Toy Story 3 this summer!:yay:

We saw them yesterday (even though we have the DVDs... :rolleyes1) and our theater used some pretty cool 3D glasses! They were plastic and rubbery and the "glass" part was pretty goggle-like (they fit over regular glasses really well). They also had this thing right in the middle of the lenses that if you blocked it, it "shut off" the 3D effect! I have to admit, I was playing with that part quite a bit to try to figure it out.

After the movie, we put them in a bin just like at the parks. I just hope they are washed before using them again...:scared1:

glad you asked op, we are going today, and i came here hoping someone would say if it was good or just like watching a normal movie.

It was good. Lots of effects from the original were super in 3-D. Need to watch again to make sure they didn't tweak some scenes. It's been a while since I watched them at home. Lot's of adults in the theatre at 11:00 show Saturday, but not very many people with kids.:confused3

I want the glasses PP's had. We only had boring black plastic ones.

We took the girls last night. Black plastic glasses.

We chose the 7:20 pm showing hoping there wouldn't be as many small children. There were still several in the theater. Have to commend the parents though - several left after the first movie, and most of the rest left part way through the 2nd when the kids got tired and fussy. Sitting still and quiet thru 2 movies with only a 10 min break between them is a HUGE task to ask of preschoolers. We didn't get home until almost 11pm and I was tired of sitting in the movie.

It was fun to see the movies on the big screen, the 1st one came out before we had kids, and our oldest was 1 when TS2 came out - I remember watching the youngest child for several friends while they took their older kids to it. We do have both on DVD but it's been a while since we watched them and the girls didn't always remember what happened next, while DH and I were quoting lines...

we went Friday night and it was packed. I loved how it looked in 3D! We had the black plastic glasses and they were a little uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose. I got a mark from them! :lmao: I loved the cute little intermission thing they did!

just got home from seeing it. what did they do for intermission, we didn't have anything special, as a matter of fact my 20yo dd made a comment about how dissapointed she was that they didn't "announce" a bathroom break.
our 3d glasses were the black plastic ones, prepackaged(which made me feel a little better, lol)
at the theater we went to they listed the show to start at 6:10, but when we got there, they said ts2 would play 1st:confused3 because they were playing it all day long. so it was a bit annoying to have to watch it in reverse:sad2: we would have come back, but it was a 1 1/2 hour drive to the theater that had it on.

Just got back! It was fun!

Our intermission had a quick cartoon for the bathroom break and getting food. Then, they did Toy Story trivia and counted down the intermission time, with a 2 minute warning before the next show started.
