towncar v. rental car

Just curious for some opinions on which most people prefer- towncar from airport to hotel or just rent a car.

I've done both. For our last trip, in March, we joined Emerald Aisle after reading these boards. I've never rented a car with so much ease! I've also used Tiffany Towncar and had excellent service.

For my upcoming trip in Oct., I decided to do a rental again. With us now staying at Beach Club Villas and no pressure to blitz the parks, I like having a car available whenever we might want to go. At first I thought the driving might be horrible, but I got great advice from this board, and had no problems at all.

We definitely prefer a towncar! When I am on vacation, I prefer to leave the driving to someone else. We use Happy Limo to get from the airport to WDW and then rely on WDW transportation to get around. The waits are never all that bad...I'd rather wait a bit than have to figure out how to get around, especially after a long day at the parts.
We've rented a car a couple of times when we've stayed off-site or have been at a conference. I got cheapies via Priceline (Alamo and Avis), and I was pleased to see that the signs are very good. But we still ended up leaving the car at the conference hotel after we were done and relying on WDW transportation to get around to the parks, then coming back to the conference hotel when we were done and driving over to our hotel for the night.
