I want to make sure I have this right.

They meet you before you get your luggage? Do I need to tip separate for their help with the bags, or is that covered by their general tip?

For a grocery stop, do they have set places they go? I'm assuming they know what stores are open that late? My nephew wants to grab a few things.

They typically meet you at the foot of the escalator to the baggage claim area. Help with your bags should all be included with your tip. Yes, leave it up to the driver to know the best places to stop for groceries on the way.
